Squat and Gobble is a long standing SF brunch place where you will find locals eating. Their quality have decreased though, the... huevos rancheros and fresh squeeze orange juice were good but the beans were undercooked and way too spicy. Their orange juiceis DELICIOUS. The capuccino was more like a latte and with no flavor. The holandaise sauce and lox were good, the potatoeswere excelent. Read more
Really great brunch spot with plenty of seating and selection. Would recommend the benedicts or crepes.
The food is delicious, the café isn't busy and they didn't mess up ore order. 5 stars. Stop buy for a quick meal and end up... staying for 2 and a half hours. Definitely recommend this café. Read more
Went here for dinner tonight. I got the spaghetti bolognese with extra spice. Perfect with the bread that comes with it. The... wings were big and tasty for the price. The ranch was a nice complement. He got the philly cheesesteak and fries. Fries werefresh cut and lightly salted. He said the cheesesteak was just ok. Service was great. Would be great if sweet pancakes were less sweet or sweetened with estevia =) Update: service seems to have... gone downhill. Has gotten expensive, and pancakes were not good. You pay for the meal upfront which means u have to tip beforeseeing how they assist u with the food. also you have to pay the SF health surcharge as they are passing the "savings' to thecustomer which will have to pay taxes.
