I mean, if you're looking at this, you already know what you signed up for. Place was pretty much perfect. Only thing I found... lacking was the beer selection - I hate wine, which seems to be their bread and butter. Other than that, you're gonna love it. Read more
The food was delicious! The menu is prix fixe and every single course was impressive. We ordered the seasonal duck and wow -... very much worth it. Additionally, the white sturgeon caviar was a highlight for the experience with the freshness of the tomatoand strawberry salad. Cali/ Italian fine dining experience headed by young chef with great talent. Nothing beats tasting their creations now while... they are still developing their menu and will pose for photos with their diners! The obligatory bar is always at the front ofthe restaurant. It’s a big piece of marble on prime restaurant land. Maybe it’s zoning requirements. Loved the open kitchenand to see the brigade working like clockwork. Didn’t hear any raised voices! This must be a well controlledkitchen. Seasonal menu is offered as they pride themselves on the food sourced from the Bay Area and provenance. Each food itemcan be traced back to their origins. Great presentation and interesting combinations with the seasonal items. I loved the tastecombinations as it pushed my palate outside of the known and expected. I don’t like to pick a favourite dish while dining atMichlin starred restaurants. They have to be rated as a fine dinning experience from the moment you enter the place, try out thetoilets, till you get the bill, and then walk out the door.
