Cozy little Chinese restaurant in the heart of SF China town. Good food and beer. Restaurant is pretty small but has two floors.... The House Chow Fun is a favorite, we really enjoyed the Kung Pao chicken and Wonton soup as well. Read more
100 years + old and going strong. All seating was full and we got lucky to get in. Really good Americanized Chinese Food. ... @jillrn_17 got Chicken with Green beans, I had Kung Pao Shrimp and we got some Chinese donuts ( like softer unsugared churros ),really crispy spring rolls and their BBQ roll a slimy noodle roll with slices and BBQ Pork. This place has history and rightfully so. I haven?t been to their original location but this new one has been around the last 7... years or so. I recalled it opening late but pandemic changed everything I guess. Anyway, we needed a quick bite so here we are.We ordered their milk tea (hot) cuz it?s cold, the three shredded meat chow mein, house chow fun, and salt & pepper chicken. Mygirlfriend really enjoyed the chow mein so that?s a plus. However, it came with a lot of bean sprouts. They should?ve filled itwith more noodles instead. The chow fun wasn?t prepped the way I personally prefer it, but we all have different taste buds andall. The chicken could?ve been a little crispier and more flavorful. Half of it felt like hot meat while I was eatingthem. Pricing is reasonable. Service is fast. Food was hot. Just what we needed on a cold chilly day!
