Sooo so yummy!! The food was delicious and refreshing and the service was excellent. The papaya salad was SPICY, well balanced... by the lettuce. (Ask for mild if you're sensitive to spice.) Definitelyyyyy get the mango sticky rice. Read more

Oh my good, Sai Jai Thai has been my all time favorite Thai Crusine since 2000, their Pork Shoulder is one of the best dish, and... so does the Stir-fried Morning Glory (On-Choi) is the must order although it?s an off menu and seasonal dish, so you have torequest when they take your order, last but not least for dessert, the Mango Sticky-rice Top w/Sweet Coconut Milk and a Thai IceTea in a to-go cup are the must haves! Enjoy! Read more

Pretty authetic Kao Soy Noodle! Excellent curry flavor and soft egg noodles with crunchy wonton noodles on top... but it is... definitely VERY RICH. They also unexpectedly put chopped green peppers (maybe jalapeños?) inside the curry sauce. It had a bitof a kick! Decently delicious. I would come back to eat this if I'm in the area. My friends and I were looking for a place toeat before a concert at the Great American Music Hall. Found this place across the street and decided to give it a try. I cameon a Friday night around 6 PM and this place was pretty empty. The area is pretty sketchy outside and there's only meteredparking. Read more

The place was quiet. Nice quiet vibe. Food was good. The dry tofu was good but the red curry was semi-good.

Was on my list for some time. The place has potential, but it was either an off night or they have chosen to move away from... authentic Thai food to get more customers. We ordered everything that was recommended. The only good thing was the friedcatfish, though the pieces were small and too deep fried. Other items we had were drunken noodles (no heat), Penang curry (tooliquidy), eggplant stir fry (no flavor). The hear scale is mild (almost no spice), medium (which we had is a little spice). Wedidn't try hot thinking it would be Thai spicy. Thai food tastes wierd and sweet if you cheat on the heat. Also didn't think theingredients were the best quality. Will.probably skip. Read more

When people first meet me, they ask me what's my ethnicity because I have a last name they have never heard of before! Sounds... sorta Chinese? I tell them I'm Thai/Chinese, as in Thailand ???????? and not Taiwan! Then they usually tell me they love "padthai"???? Sai Jai is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area! Nothing fancy, simply very delicious food and great price.Their pork shoulder fried rice is Aloi and Amazing!!! I have to warn you though, it's in the Tenderloin! Be brave! Oh yeah, they have Pad Thai! Read more
