One of the best Thai places I've been to in SF! All the dishes hit really well and had a nice spicy kick even though we ordered... the mild. We got the green curry, the crispy basil pork belly, crispy rice sausage salad, and squid with egg yolk. All of themhella slapped. I've also never seen some of these dishes at other Thai places before so I was excited to try them. My girlfriendalso recommends the crispy chicken fried rice. The vibe is super casual. We went on a Saturday night and they had disco globelights like it was a club lol. Fast service! DEF GOOOO! Read more

Very authentic Thai food. Make sure you ask the servers from what region of Thailand you want the food taste like , and most of... the time (if they know how) they will do it. I would say if you into papaya salad , that's the spot. Read more

I've been coming to Snap Ver since they opened but it is continuing to decline since a very good opening few years. I won't post... a review based on 1 visit as everyone can have a bad day. My 1 star rating is after 3 visits in the past 6 weeks. Each time therice arrived at the table cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. The chicken laab was flavorless and adorned with only afew mint leaves. The biggest offender was the chicken satay- 3 pieces of chicken, 1" wide for $12.95 and DRY !!! Overpriced andinedible. Management needs to get these problems fixed soon and restore what once was a very good restaurant. Read more

Very hip looking restaurant. Reminded me of my time in Thailand. The food is pretty good but leans a bit on the sweeter side. ... That being said, solid restaurant and quite authentic. The pad thai and basil chicken were awesome. The service was great. Wish we were a bigger group so we could try a few more items. Read more

Good food but a little bit too salty in some dishes in my opinion. Good atmosphere. I like the decorations filled with the... famous old films even my parents were surprised and praised them. I really liked the little metal cup , it made the feeling ofbeing in Thailand. Since I'm not from SF. I'm not so sure what SF was. I asked the waiter which he kindly explained to me.However, my friend who was a local later explained that what he said was not entirely true. So, I wasn't sure if he withheld theinformation thinking we were all tourists. In general, I don't like the fact that being charged 'SF mandate' , I understand ifwanting to improve employees' health benefits and so on, but that shouldn't be from customers' expenses. Employer should be theone taken care of it instead. Also, mine was charged 3%, it seemed to me that this percentage is a random made up number basedon one's opinion. why percentage, what it is being based on, if I ordered more food, then I would have to pay more?. Moreover, the SF mandate was added along food orders. Taxes and tips are calculated afterward. Again, this should come from the employernot customer Read more
