First time here but disappointed. The risotto was too sweet and the duck was not very good. However the sea food was... surprisingly good. For dinner, 20% tips are automatically added to the bill and it's pretty pricey. The desire was pretty good. But for a French restaurant, I don't think I will go again, unless they do some change to their dishes. Read more

Love it! Very authentic French bistro. The pave (excuse my typing) or thousand layers of potato is amazing. So crispy and non... greasy. I love the crispy halibut which comes with freshly shaved truffle. The halibut is also very tender and juicy . The duckconfit, according to my friend is a bit too salty. All the other appetizers are delicious too. Empirically the tempura tuna.The batter is so light and crispy. The chocolate mousse desert is very good too. Dark and rich. I would love it even more if itwere less sweet. Strongly recommend! Read more

Shared a couple of starters with friends. Especially liked scallop with truffle oil, scallop was cooked just right, truffle oil... was delightful and not overpowering the freshness and sweetness of scallop. Dungeness crab potato pave tasted as good as lookedat, potato pave has this thin and crispy crust. Chicken liver mousse topped with caramelised onions went great with breadsticks. Had mushroom risotto, duck confit and short rib confit for entrees and we all liked them. Risotto has relatively largeportion and was creamy and rich and filling. Read more

Celebrated an anniversary at Routier. The food was exceptionally delicious and well prepared. Their Formule Routier is offered... vegetarian style also. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Would definitely go back to try other offerings. Read more

Confused why this was rated high. I ordered 3 dishes, chicken liver, fried squid, and mutton. Only the chicken liver tasted... good because it had a mixed flavor of maple sweet, liver salt, and nut fragrance then became super sweet when I just completed1/8 of it. As an appetizer has a sweet and sour tone, I decided to leave it there and had my second dish. Second dish was friedsquid cube with curry like creamy soup under them. Super oily the soup and not crispy the squid or flavorful. Soup tasted ok butoily squid plus oily soup made things worse. And what unbearable was there was a mold on the leaf and although they changed itfor me but claimed that that was just the normal look of the leaf. I am pretty sure the normal leaf back didn’t look likethis. See photo. Then the third dish came, even horrible. Horribly salty made my tongue hurt and and it also had some maplesyrup flavored sweet that was too sweet. I told them it was too salty and they asked how did I want to do with it. I didn’twant even stay there longer because the waiter sent it to the kitchen and then hold it back by giving me an explanation. Samething like the leaf mold. I don’t need an explanation of why it was not salty or why it was not a mold but a solution. Forexample, you could just remove the mold leaf and gave me a new dish directly instead of hinting that I was wrong twice. I hope Ibrought a salt measure and directly gave him a precise number of how salty it was. I was really tired of this came and forthconversation and decided to leave. I was told by people that I shouldn’t pay for the food I couldn’t eat nor the tip. Wentto a highly reviewed restaurant but found some food that disappointed you was one of the most unhappy things in the world. Iheard that the crab cake was good but I didn’t order it. Maybe it’s just that I by chance ordered all of their low reviewedfood. Read more

Delicious and interesting food. Great service. For an appetizer we had the marinated melon and crab pave. Entrees were lobster... with veggies and lamb shoulder. Dessert was chocolate mouse and plums with whip cream and pastry sticks. Everything wasexcellent! Read more
