Wow?this was some of the best food I had in SanFrancisco, hands down. You can tell the owner puts a lot of love into the food. I... got the prawns over couscous, salad, and hibiscus drink. The food was made to order and super fresh. The chef was timely, attentive, and had a great sense of urgency. He made the food in minutes. It was so flavorful. The space itself was veryinviting. There were books to read, spaces to work, and larger table settings for groups of people. I was so impressed witheverything I ate. The portions were also really generous. This was a great escape from pricy, hyped up, city eateries. It?struly a gem and an A1 establishment. Read more

Eskander is an excellent chef! Each plate is memorable, in the best possible way. The table layout accommodates equally the... single customer or a gathering of 20+. Radio Africa is available for event rental also. I love this place! Read more

We walked in, the front person asked if we have any allergy, and how hungry we are, and began to serve food that way without us... needing to look through the menu. The dishes are exquisite, and it feels very warm and welcome, as if we were visiting afriend's kitchen rather than going to a restaurant. Looking forward to revisit when I am back in SF. Read more

Only got takeout, but so far so good. Delicious couscous with shrimp. Prices are very reasonable and the setting itself is nice.... Great quick preparation of the food. Read more

This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant hiding out in the Bayview. You order your food at the counter from a chalkboard menu... revised daily. The food has an African influence, seasoned to perfection. I have ordered the salmon on a bed of couscous withsteamed spinach at least 3 times and am never disappointed. The jambalaya is also good, and the meat/mushroom meatballs fromlast night's dinner were great. Seating is either family style or at individual tables, and the owner has a wonderful lendinglibrary with magazines and books covering food from around the world. Read more
