My favorite poke place but ordered something and they put something else but still think the place is amazing highly recommended
I have now been 5-6 times. Once in Fall 2020 and I felt the order process went wonderfully, staff was kind, and my bowl was... incredible. It took several months, but I returned in February of 2021. Before my visit I saw a negative review about foodpoisoning. Despite this, I recalled my positive experience and decided to return. It was even better than the first time! I amwriting one week after my second visit, and I was served only the freshest ahi tuna along with my (imitation) crab. The staffwas friendly again, portions were excellent (especially the proteins and ginger), and I can't wait to return! Went back in Mayand June 2022 and it was excellent every time. Careful with your protein choices! I got delivered two bowls with plenty of crab meat and a few pieces of our other fish... choices? I took the time to write in detail which were our scoop choices (as you would do in person) but I guess it?s cheaper topack it with crab I could also notice a weird texture in the three pieces of tuna that I got Honestly won?t get it again Read more
Update: i think that if i'm paying 14 dls i should have what i ordered, they put like 3 small pieces of octopus and 4 pieces of... shrimp, they put a lot of crab. instead of serving something equal (as they used to) Also they didn't put any sauce .The shrimpand salmon tasted weird.Finally I Ordered extra massago as only topping and they put Wasabi(which i hate). They basically ruinedmy dinner. I won't be getting food here anymore and i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you want to getdisappointed. Poke kana is 100times better. Old: I came here and i like that is really clean and organized. The employee wasreally helpful and nice. We were in Golden Gate Park craving poke, and Poke Origin was our nearest location. It is conveniently situated just south of... the park. We went around dinner time, and the place was packed (which is usually a great sign!). Despite the crowd, the pokeitself came out pretty quick! You write your order on a piece of a paper then give it to the line workers. Our group wasoverall satisfied with the bowls. The servings were generous and filling. Some toppings were missed on the bowl, but I recognizeit was likely short-staffed and during the rush. They had some great unique options, and I?d go back soon for another taste ofthe salmon. P.S. My friend said don?t pay extra for the mango. The pieces were small and didn?t add much flavor to her bowl. Read more
