Paprika has been on our list of places to eat, but I was never that excited to go, being German and there being so many other... places in the Mission to eat at. BUT oh it was so so lovely! Paprika is a small place with a small menu, the owner served usquickly, and had German beer on draft. The place played mellow background music and it's just the place to meet up with friendsto talk (and actually hear each other)!! There is outdoor seating, so you can bring your dog (we sat inside at the window). Thefood was amazing and the Apfelstrudel very tasty!!!! We will be back for some comfort food! Read more

As someone of Hungarian nationality, this place is definitely authentic! My boyfriend and I got the olaszrizling (Italian wine... from Hungary), which was absolutely delicious. Goes down very smooth and I’d recommend getting the bottle as we had multipleglasses. We got the prosciutto cheese board as well, and loved that paprika spice was sprinkled on the cheese and meat. Gave ita very authentic and genuine Hungarian vibe which made me feel like I was right at home in Hungary! Additionally, we got thevegetarian gulyás and absolutely loved it. This place was amazing and such a wonderful gem in San Francisco. Read more

I didn't find the food to be mind-blowing, but it was affordable and the service was super top notch. Very memorably lovely.

This place is close to 24th St Mission bart. Not too busy on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered mix of 2 sausages (polish kielbasa... & Hungarian sweet) with mashed potato and gravy. We had Das boot as well(good for 2 or 3 people) Food was good but I wish theyhad a dinner roll for the sausage. Read more

Remind us of Budapest. Neither of the two pork goulash dishes was salty. The gnocchi was done al dente so they were great for... slurping up the sauces. Not big portions. Apfelstrudel was excellent (not too sweet) with fresh whipped cream and huge. Servicewas fast and friendly. Cash only. Read more
