Reviews for ONE65 Patisserie & Boutique in San Francisco, CA
If you have a sweet tooth or loves a buttery and crunchy croissant, come visit! FYI: Parking is a nightmare here. The shop... itself is spacious and has outdoor seating. The croissant rivals the ones from Le Marais. Didn't want something too sweet orrich so opted for the passion fruit mango cake which was tasty taste! Curious to try some of their brunch items next time we arein the area and using public transit. Read more
I used to be a big fan of the One 65 bakery since my arrival to SF years ago until last Thursday, my birthday!!!We do love the... lemon pie, the opera and imperial cakes but my husband wanted to try the very nice looking Chocolate Raspberry cake (here in thepicture) and we were (even my 2 guests) all disappointed and deceived! No one could finish the first mouthful and the cake wentliterally to the compost! Total failure Read more
French technical pâtissier expertise is showcased in the finely executed pastry constructions at One65 Patisserie. Details... include molded chocolate garnishes, perfectly formed and coated domes, gold leaf accents and carefully swirled piping.Innovative flavor combinations include Earl Grey infused with blackberry, although the nobleman?s distinctive tea bouquet is notapparent. Recently tried the Black Forest dome gâteau, crowned with a white chocolate ring holding a faux bright red cherrywaving a molded chocolate stem. The cake layer has a rich chocolate flavor complemented with a creamed cocoa filling enrobed inchocolate coating topped with decadent custard cream. Cute minionaise mini trays feature favorite flavor pastries made asminiature truffle size versions with all the details. The rich Viennoiserie features multi layers of butter laced croissantdough in clearly defined lines and the raspberry croissant stands out by alternating stripes of toasted brown crust with red.Worth the cost. Found this as a dessert/decaf coffee option based on Google reviews. On the expensive side for a cafe dessert, but oh so worth... it. We ended up with 5 desserts for 4 people (I know) and finished all but the bread pudding (might have been better warm). Thelemon yuzu cake was our favorite! Read more
A hidden gem near Union Square! They have a big selection of pastries (primarily dessert-style pastries such as cakes), as well... as drinks. We tried a cake called The Imperial and it was delicious! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and they seem toserve savory food as well. Read more
A very nice patisserie with so many options to choose from. We had some of the colorful chocolates and some coffee.... Unfortunately we thought the coffee was too milky & the chocolate not as tasty as they were beautiful or priced although I didenjoy the unique flavors (like guava or tahitian vanilla). It did make a wonderful gift for a family member though, they havecute gift boxes to choose from for your own assortment of chocolates. Read more
I brought their limited pecan pie only available for Thanksgiving to a family thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it. Pecan... pies are usually on the super sweet side, but the ones here are not sweet at all. At first, no one wanted to take a bite becauseit looked too pretty to eat. You have a nice subtle caramel flavor that did not overpower the nuttiness of the pie. Hands downthe best pecan pie anywhere; however price is a little steep at around $49 after tax. Read more
