Wonderful place for tasty sushi. We were visiting San Francisco and stopped at this Japantown for great sushi. The place was... really crowded and I'm not surprised because the food was amazing. We got multiple plates of sushi and also pork too. All thesushi plates were presented nicely with great quality. Customer service was great and the waiters were polite. We tried spicytuna, French kiss, and California roll. The price was affordable and the quantity was good. Five stars for great service, requested substitution from salad to soup, didn't want veggie tempura so was given w extra... shrimp. Most Japanese restaurants will tell you NO substitutions no exceptions . Conveniently located on O'Farrell close toour hotel. Friendly service with the staple Japanese Sushi house dining options. Loved that they were open til 9pm, the onlyother option closely our hotel was Burger King and we were pleased we came across this gem. Read more

Sushi was okay. I thought it it was over priced compared to other sushi parlors in the city. But also they were not super... memorable. If I could give a 3.5 I would but to be honest the staff is awesome so they deserved that star for theirattentiveness. My favorite part were the jalapeño peppers. Read more
Wow, third time in this restaurant, surprisingly genuine, with two real Japanese chefs and it shows, the sushi we ate was better... than in Tokyo, Chu Toro to die for, not always, but everything we have order, and they have an extensive menu, has been great,real and delicious!!!! Highly recommended, ask the chef for sushi recommendations, he?ll love to help, they have a smallselection so they can keep it fresh!!! Read more
