One of my favorite places in the city. The staff is friendly, attentive, and creates an atmosphere that screams "cool local... joint." This is a spot I love taking friends and clients whenever they are in town. Their menu is small but highly recommendgetting the spicy pork, the spicy rice crackers, and the chicken tail skewers. Ask your server for a sake recommendation - theyreally know their stuff and have never disappointed and never over sold me. If you are looking for a fun night out with a smallgroup this is your spot. For the quality, this place gets 5 stars. However, prices are little on the high side especially a couple of the special dishes,... which can set you back about $40. Stick with their skillets. Along with a variety of skillets, we ordered one salmon dish for$18 and it came with 5 very thin slides of salon topped with greens and flower petals. We also added chicken skins for $16 andagain, the portion was very limited. Place was clean and service was great. Good place for drinks and conversations. Read more
Food is delicious!, Shitake mushrooms were really well made, the chicken sticks came with grilled onion, very delicious, the... onigiris were super tasteful and prices overall are pretty good, I would definitely come again, also, the staff were super supernice and the restaurant were playing anime, in the pictures was playing death note, episode 25 haha Read more
Izakaya style with lots of skewers. Small and intimate about ten tables and some bar seating; i walked in and grabbed the last... bar spot on a friday night, otherwise reservation seemed required. Friendly staff and good service. Read more
The staff here are wonderful and welcoming. We came here for our anniversary dinner and they not only gave us wonderful service... but also a complementary side dish of the season and dessert sake, both were absolutely delicious. This place is fun and sogood, we had the miso soup to start, beef short ribs, chicken cartilage, makerel and house sake, everything was good. Read more
SO. SO. DELICIOUS!!! Every single bite. Every yakitori. Every drink. Every dessert... truly, so so so wonderful! We had (and... heartily recommend) several yakitori (meat and vegetables -- the chicken breast was my absolute favorite!), grilled onigiri riceball, agedashi tofu (also a fave, their frying is insane), spicy buta, fried chicken, spicy cracker, the gorgeous chicken gyoza,and a sesame montblanc dessert. Food: 4/5 We got so many things to taste and share. Including the gyoza, saba shioyaki,chicken thigh yakitori, beef short rib yakitori, and of course bacon wrapped mochi! All of the things were tasty. Slightlyhigh in pricing but the good thing is you get some variety. Service: 4/5 - Friendly attentive service. Ambiance: 4/5 - It's acool little spot.
