Blew my taste buds away. a perfect balance of mouth feel, umami, spice and portion size. I can see why it won the Grand Prix of... curry! the karage and prawn (on the side) were delicious. they also currently have a pumpkin croquette that also pairs well withthe curry. Highly recommend and will try the other dishes when possible! ?????????? ?????????????? Read more

Excellent curry and easy parking across the street. I got the veggie option (basically a potato pancake and rice covered with... the curry sauce, with pickled radish on the side. They have a water dispenser available to all. My curry was a little toopeppery for my tastes; maybe they add pepper to compensate for the lack of meat. Next time i won't go for the veggie option. Probably will try shrimp or oyster. Read more

One of my favorite places in all of the United States for Japanese curry! The employees there are awesome, and everyone treats... customers well. The quality of the food you get definitely deserves the price. My new to-go for takeout and quick dinner fix. Read more

Authentic Japanese curry is hard to come in San Francisco, but a friend mentioned this place was ?the best in the city.? My... go-to place was Volcano Curry in the Inner Richmond, which is great too but not really ?authentic.? Japantown, despite it?sname, sometimes relied on the boxed Golden Curry to craft their version. However, Nippon Curry?s recipe is absolutely deliciousand you can definitely taste a difference from the places I mentioned above. When I?m craving curry, this will be the one placeI go to without fail. The one slight downside is pricing, but that?s unfortunately starting to become standard in the City. Youalso can?t really complain with the quality served either. Read more

I?m glad this restaurant is here in the Marina, because it bring a whole new cuisine to the mix. I normally don?t order curry,... but this one I wouldn?t pass up. I ordered the chicken curry, and it came out so juicy, yet crunchy from the skin! The curryitself was super good and it was over some white rice. I also had some green tea to drink. It?s a cute little restaurant andit?s such a great spot to stop by for some delicious Japanese food! Read more

After seeing a ton of businesses fail to make it in this location (Mac?d, Sushi, etc.) it?s nice to see this fast casual curry... concept succeed. Food was really well done. Service was prompt and friendly. Price was a little high for what you get, but themassive portions make up for it. Manager/ owner/ operator who was there definitely cares and checked in on all his guests andwas incredibly polite. The croquettes were amazing and if you have a hankering for Japanese curry, don?t think you can go wronghere stopping by. Read more

We know one of the workers so thought we?d check out it out. They have seats outside but we decided to dine in since it was... early and not crowded yet. We ordered the tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet). The curry sauce was nice with a slight sweetness thatis typical for Japanese curry. Next time I?ll order the greens for a bit more vegetables. The amount of pork was just rice. Mydaughter and I didn?t finish all of our rice but my husband did. They had a couple of sake to pick from. Hubby also tried aJapanese beer that he?d not tried before and enjoyed it. Definitely will come back again. Delish! Read more

Karaage was really tender and almost tasted healthy ????. Got the signature pork katsu, a little bit on the drier side I think... but the curry was really good. The pickles on the side cuts the richness too. Loved the service here as well. Read more
