I finally found my go-to hot pot place! I had been to almost all the hot pot places in or near SF but no place come close to... this. Their ingredients and soup base were very high quality. They have this Cantonese coconut soup base that takes hours tomake and is delicious on its own. Definitely no msg as I was drinking a lot of soup as I was eating. Their beef is much betterthan other places I’ve been to. The owner said they slice them to order to keep them fresh. They also wash the vegetables toorder because otherwise the vegetables will lose a little of their taste. Their two people dinner is a great value. You get agreat soup base, two slice meat plates, two vegetable options, and three additional add-ons for fifty something dollars. Lovethis place! Read more
One of the higher quality (instead of quantity) hot pots in the city. All the ingredients are fresh and the meats are really... high quality. Another thing I love about this place is that they actually make it super spicy if you ask for it. Extra hotactually means extra hot (like the way it is in Thailand and parts of the Chinese world). So stay with mild or non spicy brothif you're not into chillies/spices. Read more
Really good hot pot. Many broths to choose from. We did a mix of beef broth and red hot. We skipped the numbing broth after... trying the spicy chicken wing that were so spicy that we couldn't eat them (waitress warned us though). Great friendly service.Will come back! Read more
I've dined here at least 4 different times. Every time the menu seems to change and the price keep pulling going up. On a... normal night it's not very busy and you can walk in and get a table. This is not true in Chinese New Year's Eve. You'll need areservation that day. The food is decent. I always get a large order of beef and everyone else picks what they want. You canalways add more if you're still hungry. Service isn't great here. I had to repeatedly all over and over and never got what Iwas asking for I just gave up. Read more
