I have tied ordering twice here. First time, the order delivering ETA changed from 20 minutes to 1.5 hour +. So I cancelled... it. Second time, I got the order on time but a completely wrong order. The only right thing was the protein, rest everything waswrong. Just a very horrible experience! Never going to order again and recommend the same to everyone! Read more
I'm a big fan of moonbowls! -Excellent taste! I had the tofu bowl and really enjoyed the various toppings (you get upto 5). My... favorites: fresno chiles, roasted corn, citrus kale. -Fast delivery, everything was very fresh -Vegans, vegetarians and glutenfree people can easily order. Sooo good! I get this delivered during work and it always comes in a very nice neat sturdy bowl with nice quality disposable... chopsticks. I?ve gotten the meat lovers and avocado bulgogi bowls and love them both. Filling but also feels healthy and reallygood range of flavors! Super worth it, I literally recommended it to my coworker today just because I like the food so much. Read more
Food was decent, but you might be waiting a while. It?s a delivery / pickup building with many restaurants. They forgot the... meatless beef that I ordered for my bowl (it was an extra cost) and didn?t provide any utensils or napkins even though you haveto make a selection for them online. Update: they gave me $10 off so I tried it again but they never refunded me for forgettingmy side. Also, after ordering a second time, they forgot my extra side of sauce. Everything was too sweet. Worse, the business engages in deceptive practices like the potstickers showing more than 5 pieces in... the photo on Doordash, but then it came with only 5 pieces. $11 for 5 potstickers is a very bad price, and they also tastedreally bad. The dumpling wrapper had the wrong texture and the filling was too sweet. The sauce was even more sweet. Read more
The cauliflower was good and not super breaded, the sauce was amazing with the vegan ranch. I wasn?t a fan of the sweet potato... noodles, but after I let them sit in my fridge over the night, the leftover were actually better. Tofu was covered in a spicyalmost Buffalo sauce that was good. This is my first time having Moonbowls and I?m pretty happy with my order. I made my own bowl with chicken, impossible beef,... citrus-marinated kale, fresh arugula, roasted broccoli, ginger garlic soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Pros: Taste was good,portion size is generous, presentation looks great, price is good for SF, open late! Cons: Thought the rice and meat would be abit warmer. I did order through Door Dash on a Sunday night (3rd shift worker) though. The impossible beef is a littleunappealing to the eye but the taste is good. I?ve never had impossible meat before so that?s just my take. Overall a good mealfor those that want something healthier and filling compared to the other late night fast food options.
