As soon as walking through the door you notice the place could use some renovations. The decor was simple, even though some of... the best restaurants are simple. It had a nice ambiance; perhaps like a small local sushi spot in Japan. They were relativelybusy for 8pm on a Wednesday but only had one server working. The server was nice and accommodating although clearly overworkedas quite a few tables had to go up to the bar to order since no one came to their table. I ordered a simple Alaskan Roll andTakka Roll. The Alaskan had good flavor and the fish was fresh. The tuna in the takka was perhaps a tad old. I finished my mealwith a crunchy giant which looked amazing and had great presentation. I know I asked for a roll that’s tempura but it may havebeen cooked too long. Still tasted good and filled my belly. It was a nice meal but Idk if I’d go back again. Read more

Saw this place on the street and decided to give it a try. The inside is very cute. The food was simple but delicious. However,... I have to take a star off for the food prepping time. The vegetables on the sides are delicious. A bit pricy but that’s okay. It’s sf. Will try again another day. Read more

Delicious food and speedy service. I stopped in for a quick solo lunch and was not disappointed. It is clear that a lot of care... and love went into preparing the food. Read more

This restaurant was good, I enjoyed the sushi rolls greatly. However, the Thai Iced Tea was slightly overpowered by the... sweetened condensed milk. The restroom could have been cleaner but it wasn't horrible, and the water tasted similar to how oldwater from a water bottle tastes. I would come back here though! The menu was organized well and the food was excellent. Read more

You know how in neo-noir movies there's meetings with shady characters where they talk business over sake and sushi? Yeah, that... would be this place. The food is pretty great, I can't complain. Freshly served and neat presentation. Had some miso soup and aCherry Blossom roll with hot tea, and they were pretty good and just plain pretty. Portions are on the smaller side though, sobe warned. The atmosphere is not extraordinary, but it works well. It's an unfussy place, didn't seem very crowded. Service wasgood and, although not prompt, can't complain. There seems to be a large variety of rolls, with the traditional fare muchcheaper than the special rolls. I went a bit fancy, but you can get meals + tea under $20 if you'd like. Overall, it's a prettygood place for a quiet evening bite. Read more

Sushi was excellent. The place itself looked a little dated/untidy, but other than that everything was great. The food came out... quickly, and we didn’t have to wait for refills. I ordered the Lion King roll, Caterpillar roll, & Alaska roll. The LK rollwas especially good. Would recommend. Read more
