Happy Hour surprise. My wife and I headed up the hill from my mothers apartment to grab a drink and some dinner to be surprised... by the fact that it was still happy hour. We enjoyed the chicken and pork tacos and had a couple of margaritas. service wasgreat. Atmosphere was very good and we were glad to have been ahead of the Saturday night rush. Very decent and well seasoned Mexican food. They have a wide variety of options. I really love that appetizer. It has a crispy... shell stuffed with beef. The burned pepper sauce is so flavorful. Strongly recommend. They also have very good cocktails. I hadthe hibiscus mezcal. Read more
Checked out this place on Friday night and it had a really good vibe. We were put on the waitlist for about 25 mins, which is... quick for a Friday night. We were seated upstairs and I really enjoyed the ambiance up there, it was a bit more quite and yougot to see the whole view of the restaurant. The drinks at this place were amazinggggg! The food was also really good, I hadthe burger which I really enjoyed. My husband had the carnitas quesadilla which was good, not that flavorful but comes with anice spicy salsa and guacamole. Honestly, not really all that worth it. The cocktails were delicious and the service was very good, also the nachos and... guacamole, but other than that…. The tacos were soggy and runny, the kale salad was decent but not worth the money, thechurros had a very weird taste and were hard, and the ice cream that came with the churros was all stuck and frozen. The totalcost of the food was over $250!!!!! And very little food was ordered, if this restaurant cost $70 for the whole check than I’dgive it 4 or maybe even 4.5 stars, but the quality of the food did not match the price at ALL. This place has the most amazing selection of tequila and mezcal. We went to grab a quick tasting because they are famous for... their selection of tequila. But we ended up getting Guacamole/chips snack and 4 of their house original cocktails because theywere so delicious. We are definitely coming back for dinner to try out the rest of the menu. Phenomenal must-go-to location in Russian Hill. Top notch tacos and a selection of tequila and mezcal you can’t find... elsewhere. Not a fan of hard liquor? The cocktail menu I has something for everyone. Definitely recommend the Happy Hour forfirst timers. Read more
