One of the best unknown dining experience in the whole city. The amount of creativity the chef puts in the menu is absolutely... mind blowing and every new menu is a treat. The wine pairing is also wonderful, every time. Go! You won't be disappointed. Read more

First of all, it was the most creative dining experience I’ve ever had. The presentation was very cute and thoughtful.... However, the food itself was just so-so. Some were too salty and some were too sweet. I really wanted to love it but the foodquality just didn’t match the price. Read more

I don't generally like fine dining, but I can genuinely see myself coming back here. The entire meal was themed nicely, with... optional wine pairings (which I didn't go for but still had a great time). The restaurant was intimate and can only fit 8 peopletotal, tended to by very lively and funny staff. There are also nice surprises :D I deliberately chose photos that are a littlelamer so that the surprises will actually be surprises, but you won't be disappointed! Read more

Maybe we had higher expectations especially we made a reservation a few months ago, or maybe the theme that we didn’t like it.... We expected more variations of fish/shells but we noticed the Mermaid feast was mostly focused on seaweeds. So overall, it wasso so salty. Not only the seaweeds, but also all the other dishes. We kept drinking water/wine to dilute the salt level. And tbhthe service definitely didn’t meet the level of the price that we were paying. Not so professional we found compared to othersimilar fine dining restaurants in the bay area. A bit disorganized vibe and ambience - sad that we couldn’t really connect tothe experience the restaurant was trying to relay on. Read more

One of the few “fine dining” places where I’d say I would come again for another menu rotation. It is definitely on the... pricier side but it was a great and unique experience. I wonder what other seasonal menus will bring ???? and if it will bedistinctively differently from this one. It was an extremely intimate experience, the restaurant only seats 8 at a time andthere were 6 staff running around the kitchen. Read more

Incredible experience here that is one of a kind. Extremely creative menu themes that change every quarter and super passionate... chefs. Definitely recommend reserving one of their dinners at least once. The first time I went was for Around the Summer in 42Plates which convinced me to join their chef's circle for early access to future reservations. The following chef's circlemeeting we went to where past dishes were served and future themes were voted on was also super fun. Read more

Lovely prix-fixe from a seasoned chef that opened his little restaurant right before the pandemic. Compared to high end prix... fixes across the city (Lazy Bear, Saison, etc) this place is relatively affordable at $128 before tax and tip. We had theflowers- themed menu with lots of floral embellishments and tea flavours. The restaurant prides itself in switching menus every4 months. We loved the jasmine tea-flavoured duck and the brioche roll. The cauliflower dish had an abundance of interestingflavours as well. The fish dish fell a bit flat as the olive flavours were one-note. I would definitely come back again to seewhat the chef has in store! Read more
