Friendly, fast service and very good food.
The first thing I noticed when I walked into their shop were the kids behind the counter, quietly drawing. Very well mannered... with friendly staff quiet atmosphere warm lighting and the smell of delicious dim sum being cooked. We we've ordered twice delivery in the past few weeks, and they're a solid restaurant. Delivery was quick for SF - under an... hour. Health score of 94 too (they've since dropped to 66 and 82, so I've downgraded my review to 3 stars). The first order wasamazing. Every dish we had was delicious: General Tso's Chicken, String Bean Beef, Mu-Shu Pork, Cashew Chicken, Spring Rolls,Pot Stickers, and BBQ Pork Chow Fun. The second order was mixed. We enjoyed the Chicken Corn Soup, the Sesame Chicken, and theBroccoli Beef - they were great! The King Salmon Fillet was a bit over-cooked, the strings beans were a little too tough in theString Bean Fried Tofu with Garlic and Salt, and the Fried Brown Rice was kind of mushy. Read more
The portions are small and the egg foo young and veggie spring rolls are too greasy. The veggie pot stickers were stellar and so... tasty. The ginger eggplant was curiously sweeter than expected. The cost for four items was $50, a bit pricey for averagetasting Chinese food. If you're looking for Mandarin style Chinese food, go to Chinatown. This place makes hong kong style orSzechuan style Chinese food look messy and taste greasy. I'd you didn't know where it was, you'd walk right past it, as it's noton the corner of Cortland and Mission Sts as it's hanging flyer states which I received in my door knob. Read more
