vEgEtAriAn ReViEw!!! i know this french bakery is known for their patés, but i went just for the pastries! took a lovely walk... through chinatown to the base of the transamerica pyramid. the bakery keeps a line out front but once you’re inside theservice is fast & knowledgeable. i asked about vegetarian options and the barista helped me pick two of their favorites: thechestnut croissant and the quiche de saison (goat cheese, squash, garam marsala). the chestnut croissant is neither savory norsweet, but some third other thing. delicious, impressive “honeycomb” crumb, and beautiful to look at. but next time i amgoing straight for the butter croissant. my only regret. the quiche was incredible and very filling! split this with a friendfor a light breakfast. really good flavor, easy to cut with a fork and knife. i also got an americano which was great. satinside at a cute table and relaxed for a bit before continuing on a nice walk downtown. total for 2 pastries and a coffee was$22 plus tip. but i over-ordered so it probably could have been like $10-$15 instead. definitely not cheap though, but very muchworth it for the quality. maison nico i will be back!!! What a wonderful cafe! Must must try. Veg and non-veg options. The vegetable quiche was really tasty. The liquor-cappucino was... worth a try. The customer service is great, good seating area and nice ambiance. Read more

Our favorite bakery Me and my husband always go there for breakfast pastry and coffee. Their pastries are a bit expensive but... its worth every single penny. The look is appealing and the taste is delicious. The place is cozy and they even have outdoorseating. Staff are friendly, and store is clean. Read more
