Wandered in randomly off the street on a slower Sunday night. The host was super friendly and welcoming and immediately set a... positive tone. The food was surprisingly delicious at every turn. We had oysters and flatbread to start, and both had uniqueand delicious twists on them that we'd not experienced before. For our meals we had the salmon and the pork tenderloin skewersand were impressed with the flavor and presentation on both. For desert we had the cobbler and a cup of french pressescoffee. Service was attentive, atmosphere was nice, and the food was fantastic. We left pleased and impressed, and alreadyplanning our next visit. Read more
What a lovely surprise this resto turned out to be. My group and I were originally targeting our Friday night dinner at good... good culture club but they told us that it'd be a 3 hour wait so we ended up walking along Valencia and good thing Luna had atable for us. Knowing how amazing the dishes were at Luna kinda makes me hesitant to rave all about it and post this reviewbecause I'm afraid it'll get so much hype that dining there will be impossible in the future. But I wanna give credit wherecredit is due and say that it would be wrong to sleep on this place. Our server Daniel has been nothing but accommodating andapproachable and explained all the dishes in a way that made us want to order everything on the menu. I ordered a drink and a well-done burger. The waitress brought my meal burned! When she dropped our food, she hit my glass,... spilled my drink on the table, and left without saying anything. Another waiter noticed, came to us, apologized, and offeredanother drink. The place is overpriced! 2 drinks + 2 burgers > $80, and the burger was tasteless! My drink was called Bee'sbonnet and it was good! Overall, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had in San Francisco :( Read more
