I really wanted to like this place, but it was underwhelming. We stuck to vegetarian options and they mostly very bland. The... exception was the sambar with okra, which was the best dish. They didn't have the tofu dish, which looked good in pictures. Theglass noodles dish was super bland and the gado gado was just ok. The non veg options lookee much better (in pictures). Thatmight be a better choice. Read more

The service is good in this restaurant, but the food was not that delicious. I just came back from Thailand and Malaysia last... week. I wouldn't say those are actually Thai food and Malaysian food. I couldn't eat one more bite, it tasted like that. Read more

One of the best places on Irving. Rendang was delicious today. We also got the Singapore curry noodle and the martabak. We were... pleased! Also worth noting: their bathroom is clean and they have a baby changing station! Read more

You get what you pay for. The service was great. The waitstaff friendly. But the food was very low quality ingredients. The Beef... Rendang was a generous portion. However it's very low quality beef. The sauce ratio was quite small. I couldn't finish it as itjust wasn't that good. This is however 2022 post pandemic pricing so to have these meals priced the way they are and expect highquality would be a pipedream. What really was a turnoff though is the bathroom, they had all this time during shutdown to throwa quick even sloppy paint job and clean. But ther there is mold along the trim and walls stained moldy dirty looking . Thestate of a restaurant bathroom reflects how much the owner cares about cleanliness imho and reflects poorly on a restaurant. Read more

The dinner was perfect. The restaurant is simple but clean. Everything is quick and you have a bunch of choices.

How can you trust a restaurant where the waitress is so skinny? Does she not eat the delicious food served here? Or does she... know something we don't in the kitchen? I'm assuming she is new. Anywho, I had their garlic noodles with chicken $13. I added afried egg on top to make it less plain. The noodles took about 25 minutes to make. I thought it was good, not great. I wouldhave preferred noodles with more texture. These would break when you squeeze them with chopsticks. The dish had a good garlicflavor with bits of black pepper. The one thing I couldn't understand was the wedge of lemon they included. The place is called"Lime Tree". High marks for having a cleaner more modern dining room than their Irving St. location. That one feels like eatingin someone's garage. I usually get their laksa (rice noodles with shrimp in coconut based broth) at that location. Read more
