I can't believe I finally made it out to the famous Lazy Bear - I waited eagerly on 10/17/22 to get my 11/4 reservation for my... partner's birthday and was super happy I got to go. Good: - Really cool theme and aesthetic - they lean heavily into thecamping/nature theme with food all having some natural element to it and foraging for ingredients - Really knowledgeable staffand super bubbly too - we had about 5 people come by our table total to explain each dish and it was really cool how passionatepeople were about their dishes - Fan of almost every single dish - I loved the carrot cake dessert and the first dish with theegg with bacon fat and also the tomato and seafood platters - each dish was beautiful and it was a night to be remembered. - Themushroom broth was heavenly - I wanted way more of it - Got a wine bottle to share, and it was super great since we got arecommendation for what would go well with our dishes - Good portions - I felt stuffed by the end! I honestly was surprisedsince not every tasting menu type place gives enough food but this was way more than enough. - Got a nice card for my partner'sbirthday Bad: - Super expensive, so won't come back for a while until we have another huge occasion to celebrate - There werebig dividers in the form of plants so we couldn't really get to know the others at the table sadly Overall really solidexperience, and I really like how unique and cool the dishes and staff and place were. This experience can't be missed! Read more

The service was incredibly efficient, very well run place. The menu we had was fairly fish and seafood focused but no... complaints, the salmon was incredible and melted in your mouth. The dessert experience upstairs with the pairings was also veryunique. Read more

Lazy Bear has earned their two Michelin Stars. The food was unique and outstanding, but the personalized touches are what put... this experience above and beyond. A small table was brought to our seat for my purse, which was a really nice feature! Front ofhouse service was flawless, with each dish and drink presented with explanation from a different person each time. It was veryfun to hear about how the food was sourced and the over-the-top preparations were delightful. Definitely worth the spend for aspecial occasion; for us it was our anniversary, and we were even given a card signed by the staff to commemorate the occasion. Read more

Overall the food was outstanding here. We had an amazing night out and enjoyed both the atmosphere of Lazy Bear and the culinary... creations from start to finish. The whole experience was next level! It has to be said that the staff were also amazing—they’re hiring a really great and eclectic group here. The experience was really fun and they seem to have a wonderful cultureat Lazy Bear that comes though during service. Wine pairings were next level (and we ENJOY wine)— we were definitely surprisedby some new favourites. Awesome sommeliers and it was a treat picking their brains a bit. :) A few feedback notes: on the nightwe were there (a Saturday) flowers at the tables were browsing at the edges and the vases (ours was clear) showed very murky /dirty water that needed to be changed. This is a detail not many would notice, but having worked at a florist I did and it madethis a bit unappetizing to start. Toward the end (ish) of the meal we received a jelly (I believe mint in flavour) but this wasthe only pallet (ish) cleanser we’d received the whole meal, if it was even meant as such. I normally don’t look for thesebut found with so many different plates and flavour profiles 1-2 throughout would have made the experience so much better! A bitheavy on the (raw) fish to start but overall it was amazing and I’d highly recommend going if you can snag a reservation! xo Read more

What a memorable experience, really incredible. We had the best time enjoying every course that was presented to us by the witty... and knowledgeable staff. We also did the wine pairing, and that added a lot to the meal and fun. The food is so inventive anddelicious! So much thought is clearly put into the planning and preparation. Yes, it is expensive, but worth every penny! Read more

One of the best dining experiences ever! They go out their way to make you feel special. Each course was my favorite. Only 4... stars because it's very pricey, the value is subjective. Read more

Great experience! Definitely stands out among other Michelin 2 stars. Food was amazing overall, we do enjoy all the dishes, and... the service is great! the only small problem is Waygu quality is below my expectations, it does not melt in your mouse and somepart is little bit hard to chew. I celebrated my birthday here, and I received lots of blessings from different staff. Theygave me a card which has every staff’s signature, this is so a sweet! At the end they’ll give you breakfast, cold brew, banana bread and granola! Will definitely come back! Read more

Wow. My mom and I spent an evening here last week. We sat outside which doesn't have the same atmospheric feel as the inside but... the servers do an amazing job at keeping the experience the same. They tell you all about each dish and the servers are soknowledgeable about each item and how they made it and where it came from and so on. Every piece was unique and delicious. Mymom got the wine pairings and thoroughly enjoyed them. It was a lot of wine though. They say it adds up to being about 3glasses. But when each dish is only a bite there isn’t much to absorb the alcohol. So I don’t suggest it if you are a lightweight! All and all though an amazing once in a life time experience. Read more
