Hardly any flavor at all and they even asked if I wanted it spicy. Any good Mexican food has well seasoned beans and these had... none. The menu also listed the food as being $3 cheaper than it actually was. Why has all the Mexican food in this city becomewhite washed? Read more

Walked to La Canasta to get some dinner at around 5:30 PM, only to find it was closed despite its listed hours saying it should... be open. Disappointed that I wasted my time. Read more

I ordered via a delivery app that charged me but La Canasta didn't get the order. The lady was so kind and understanding, she... still got my order for me and told me she would handle it. The burrito I had was incredible and I can't get one like it againback home. When I'm back in San Fran, I'll definitely be popping by again! Read more

Staff was rude, burrito was small, carne asada was undercooked, chewy, and they hardly even cut it up! It was like one big nasty... chunk of meat. Shame because when I ate here a few years ago it was delicious. Read more

I had the worst burrito of my life tonight. There is no meat in the chorizo burrito I ordered, at least I couldn't taste any... meat texture, just beans and rice. The customer service is terrible as well. The woman who took my order was impatient. Theywon't provide me the customer receipt cause there is no paper in the machine and don't seem to feel sorry about it at all. I wasasked to wait outside when I was waiting for my food (I was wearing a mask). I don't understand how this place could survive..To all the first-time customers who got curious about this place like me, just try somewhere else and don't let this place ruinyour day. Read more

I did not enjoy take out from La Canasta at all. When I went in, the older woman who works there didn?t welcome me, but instead... just looked my way. I ordered the Chile Colorado and was extremely disappointed. The chili tasted like the peppers were burntduring the roasting process, the beans tasted old and the rice was sticky and mushy. It came with corn tortillas that werewarm, but looked and tasted as if they never cooked. When I was taking a few pictures for this review, the woman became annoyedand demanded to know what I was doing. To make the whole thing even worse, I wasn?t given utensils to eat with. I won?t gothere again. Read more
