One of the lamest breakfasts I’ve ever had. Took them 1 hr to prepare this horrendous meal.

Fast, excellent service- great SF coffee- fresh and bright shakshuka breakfast! The waiter recommended the Pumpkin Cornmeal... Buttermilk Pancake (seasonal and incredible!) and I couldn't have been happier. Real maple syrup - always a good sign. Husbandhad the Hash and it was incredible! Filling and worth every dime. Mimosas in several flavors and one of the best Bloody MarysI've ever had. Thank you for a great vacation breakfast!! Will DEFINITELY be back! Read more

The food was delicious and the portions very big. The waiters were really nice even if they were busy with a lot of customers.... We would definetely come back again. We came here twice during our USA trip! Read more

Extremely friendly and efficient staff. The food was delicious, I had the fried chicken sandwich which was super fresh and... perfectly cooked. The hash browns were made of super thin potato strings and so crispy! Read more

Visiting from Chicago and on our last day we stopped by here. Service was fast, and breakfast was really delicious. The ambiance... was quite cozy. I also ordered half carrot half orange juice and finished it within seconds. It was all great! Read more

If you're in the mood for biscuits, potatoes, pancakes, or french toast you'll find happiness at Kate's Kitchen. The portions... are generous. Make sure to check out the specials board for extra flavor options. There are also numerous gluten free options. If you're dining in, the coffee is some of the best "diner coffee" I've had because it's strong and flavorful. If you're lookingto take out, their website makes it hard to order some specialty items and the phone reception is always spotting when placingan order over the phone but I've always been able to ultimately get what I wanted. Recently there was a miscommunication on myorder but it was immediately rectified in person. Read more

Visiting from out of town (Texas) Breakfast was traditional and tasteful. We ordered some traditional breakfast consisting of... eggs bacon sausage and pancakes as well as some orange juice and lattes. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and it wasprobably the best orange juice I’ve had while in the city. The lattes where delicious but wish it was a little stronger.(Just personal preference) The food itself was good the only thing that was not my favorite where the pancakes because I havenever had cornmeal pancakes however I can see why some people would like them. Originally came here because of the pictures ofthe bagels however they don’t sell bagels anymore so don’t justify coming here for that alone. Came on a cold day for us(58) and the door was opened and felt cold the entire time. Asked if they could turn on the fire heater we were sitting next tooand where told no. Other then that it’s a great little spot for brunch. Parking is limited. Read more

I used to live just up the street. I came almost every weekend to eat here. Today, I ordered the farmer’s breakfast. I don’t... care for the home fries too much. So, I asked if I can substitute hash browns. The waiter said, not on the weekend. Then, hesaid I could substitute a fruit cup. What? I can substitute a fruit cup but not hash browns, because it’s the weekend? It’sjust an odd rule. The portions are much smaller than they used to be. Look at the amount of home fries. The plate was $9.50 andtwo basic pieces of bacon were an extra $4. I used to leave really full. Today, I could eat another plate. It just makes me wantto find another place for breakfast. And, I will. Read more
