Staff treated me differently because of my Race - terrible experience Staff is very rude and pretentious. I was there for over... 30 minutes, they forgot to make my drinks? When I asked a simple clarifying question ?I have never order a power shake before,do they usually take this long. I received a response of ?listen sir there are many guests ahead of you.? But I was the onlyperson in the store at that point. This is when I said im not here to argue I just want to better understand I guess theyweren?t happy and said a stereotype about my race and how we believe we are entitled. This is not what I expect from Joe andthe Juice. Specifically look at their response of the situation Read more

I was excited to go to this store. Look super cute and it is very nice inside. What i got to eat? no so much. So i got an acai... bowl. It wasnt terrible but it tasted a bit artificial. The granola was a bit hard and too sweet for me? BUT the REALLY BADTHING: they put a dethaw banana in the bowl and it was partially brown. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I mean is a an acai bowl. Fresh bananais a requirement! Try a little harder. I also got a vegan avocado sandwich. I was a little burnt but it tasted good. Theservice was bad. The poor two girls there seemed annoyed and miserable. Read more

I love the smoothies here -- the ingredients seem to be extremely healthful and uncommon overall. I feel like the drinks there... are overpriced though (e.g. $10 for a smoothie is a lot). The location itself has a coffee shop-like ambience and is amenable togetting work done. Read more

As you can see in this picture, Joe & the Juice has been discarding trash on the street. This trash has been on Mission Rock St... for over a week and a half and no one has picked it up. They are contributing to trash on the streets. I would not recommendsupporting this business. Update: 06/23. The trash is still there. Note: even though it?s next to the trash bins it is notpicked up by city garbage pickup because they don?t pick up anything that isn?t tagged properly or in bins. If you zoom intopicture you?ll see Joe and Juice logo. Read more

I?ve ordered their sandwich and coffee in the past, and there was nothing to complain about. However, I ordered their açaí... bowl and am highly disappointed. It did not taste like an açaí bowl, it was more like a yogurt and nuts bowl. It was nottopped with strawberries or bananas, and the gogi berries were not chewy but hardened and impossible to chew. I highly recommendstaying away from here if you want an açaí bowl. Get one across the street, a little more expensive but quality is a lothigher! Read more

First time visiting Joe and the Juice on Fourth (4th) Street yesterday, but, it will definitely not be my last. Funny thing is,... I?ve walked by Joe and the Juice at least one hundred times but was never compelled to go in, until yesterday. Let me start bysaying, I absolutely love the aesthetic! It?s very hip, modern, and chic. I would equate it to being a ?heathy hipsters,? juicebar. The iconic logo is strategically branded throughout the business, so there?s no way you?ll forget where you are. The fourthstreet location was ?clean, sanitized, had a open design, and is very modern (see pictures).? The decor is like a high endlounge, great for working, thinking, and meeting with friends. The staff was friendly and gave great drink recommendations! Now,for the fun part. GO GET A POWER SHAKE! It?s one of their signature drinks and it?s INCREDIBLE. As soon as I tasted it, my tastebuds, said WOW! Why is this the first time we?re having this. Im sure that food and drinks are wonderful, but, the POWER SHAKE,is something magical. So glad that the team recommended it. Now, the only downside is that it is a bit pricey, even for SanFrancisco. Expect to pay upwards of $20 for two large drinks. I?ll definitely be back. Read more

The drinks here are so good. Coffee is great, shakes are great and I've yet to meet an employee at any of the locations that... aren't chill. I also love the layout of the space. Really modern and minimalistic. It's got a cozy feel to it. The one downsideI can think of is the price. It's a bit more expensive, but I feel it's worth the cost difference. Read more
