I LOVE J&TJ but I've come to hate this location - avoid it at all costs. It's way too busy (likely due to its prime downtown... location) but they are also understaffed. Today they had only two baristas, one moving at a snail's pace filling the 50+ apporders that were rolling in, and the other sprinting around the store trying to serve all of the in-person customers. Mysmoothie had entire chunks of food still in it because the poor worker only blended it for like 15 seconds before pouring it outso he could hand it to me and get to the next customer waiting. Awful experience for $12... but I love this brand and hope theycan improve.... Read more

This is one of my favorite cafe?s because the shakes and food seem healthy and the vibes are dope. They must have had a board... meeting about how they can save cost on the Avocado toast because I could barely see or taste the avocado. Kinda disappointingespecially because they charge a premium. Hope they change this Read more

Really plush coffee shop style cafe with food and an extensive drink menu. Come and relax while the city goes by outside. Come... here and it will feel like you are inside one of those lowfi chill youtube streams. Read more

Joe and the Juice is a funky chain of juice stores. Their main focus is juice, but they also have a selection of coffee drinks,... espresso, sandwiches, tea, and pastries. This location has a lot of seating, a cool vibe, and great decor. The staff isfriendly. Unlike Jamba Juice, Joe and the Juice has more fresh juices made from real fruits and vegetables vs frozen fruit andfruit juice. Joe and the juice doesn?t use any sorbet or ice cream in their smoothies. Read more

Great ambience and good food. I had the tunacado which was delicious nicely pressed panini style sandwich. The shake was thick... and tasty! However, disappointed with the service at the one on Howard st in the East Cut neighborhood. The person behind thecounter was probably in a bad mood, without a mask , not interested and didnt really wana take any orders! Id still be goingthere just hoping I get a different server. Read more

Great option for vegetarians looking for sandwich or smoothies, only downside being high price. It's not hard to find a Joe and... The Juice outlet in the city. Stopped here after a good run at the Embarcadero and loved the selection of juices and shakes.Their menu has an assorted selection to choose from. Shakes are super filling and named as 're-build', 'energy booster' etc.Tried the super yummy banana and strawberry one, it's a little pricey for $8 a glass though. Also tried the avocado sandwich, the bread is super crispy and thin filled with fresh ingredients (avocado, tomato, pesto, mozzarella). This is not very fillingby itself though but more like a snack. And pricey, yet again. I love the ambiance of the outlet at Howard street in Financialdistrict. Nicely done interiors and lighting with plenty of seating if you just like to laze or chill with friends. Read more

Amazing hip and spacious coffee, juice, and sandwich shop. I read it is originally a Denmark chain that is now expanding into... the US. The location is really convenient near my work and inside there's so much space. It's very modern and trendy. Greatplace to relax, chat, or just hang out. I've tried several juices already, the sandwiches, which are more like flatbreads, andthe acai. Recommend the juices and sandwiches, probably wouldn't get the acai again though, as the juices are just better. Theyuse centrifugal juices which makes sense considering the ingredients of the juices are mostly fruits and juicyvegetables. Consider getting a prepaid juice card if you plan to stop by frequently.
