Reviews for Jasper's Corner Tap and Kitchen in San Francisco, CA
Lots of really good food and beer options and great place to watch sports. Good portion sizes for the price too. The J burger... was excellent! Read more
Went for breakfast. Waited for some time to be seated and then forgotten. Had to go and request someone to take care of my... order. The waiters seemed stretched thin. Ordered short ribs and avocado toast. The food was really good. Read more
Coming into the restaurant was great. Their tables are decorated with rosemary, which contrasts to the smells of SF streets,... offering some odoriferous relief and contrast. I asked the server her preference between the salmon and the steak frites andshe strongly suggested the salmon. I wasn't disappointed. The salmon was good -- the glaze was great, and I really enjoyed therisotto. I'm not usually one that enjoys mushrooms, but these were actually pleasant. The asparagus were tender, but notovercooked. I would have preferred a more crispy asparagus, but their taste was on point. I indulged in the dessert — thebread pudding — which was great, partly because the garnish of fresh berries and whipped cream cut the sweetness of thecaramel. It was a great dinner before attending the theater (Curran) nearby. Read more
Had to have the J Burger, endorsed by Anthony Bourdain! It was a good burger ???? Personally, I would have liked a bit of mayo... or burg sauce. But there was no denying the quality of ingredients they use Read more
Unfortunately, the service wasn’t as good as it should be, given the location . Understaffed, perhaps? We were seated... promptly, given water, menu, then no one in sight for 20 mins. It wasn’t even at half capacity. We finished our waters longbefore being seen by another waiter/waitress, no water refills offered. We placed our orders, then waited a little over 39 minsfor our food to arrive . I received my French toast (one piece of bread) . $15! Not worth it. Read more
The food was amazing. Had the American breakfast with impossible sausage. The staff are so nice. We didn't have to wait outside... for a table. Definitely will come back next trip to San Francisco! Read more
The menu and food here are high quality. Chef Raymond is wonderful. The ribs were falling off the bone. The salmon steak was... perfectly seasoned, nice and meaty. The asparagus was perfectly blanched with a yummy butter coating. The candied pork belly wasperfectly cooked with a tangy, lightly spiced glaze. I also had a very unique mashed avocado mezcal cocktale that went perfectlywith everything, smokey, not too sweet. Topped it of with a perfectly crusted creme brulee. Top notch service from serverDinovo, despite staffing shortage. Both Dinovo and Chef Raymend doubled as bartender and still managed to provide great serviceand an excellent meal. Don't let the casual sports bar atmosphere fool you (the main dining room is closed due to covid). Thefood is worthy of a white table cloth establishment. I will definitly return. Read more
Tania is THE BEST bartender. They were very attentive/friendly and drinks were superb. The food was hot and delicious. We... ordered their million dollar deviled eggs, super yummy. Pork belly candy was juicy, flavorful and just the right amount ofsweetness. French onion soup had a good flavor and lots of cheese. Cornbread muffin was FRESH and so moist. Lavender fieldscocktail did the trick, one and done for me lol. The old fashioned was nice with a citrus flavor. Read more
