The food is excellent. The service was excellent. The drinks were very well paired. We had the tasting menu + wine pairings and... let me just say that I'd never regularly order a pea soup. But that's the beauty of prix fixe because you'll get the chef'srecommendation instead of your preference. Yo that pea soup was amazing! The layers of flavors was so impressive. At first I wasdisappointed because the portion size seemed really small, but it was so loaded with flavor and just heavy enough that theportion size was actually ideal. Then I had the steak. I took a bite of the steak and immediately thought of the years ago whenI lived in Texas and there was always a crispy char from the grill on your meat. The taste was really impressive. We also hadthe salad which was a highlight and then the following courses kept getting better. We ended with cookies and milk, which wasdelicious but not as impressive as everything else. Our server was a doll and was so fun. The bartending staff was cool and theynailed the old fashioned we ended with. Can't wait to go back!! Read more

Awesome place. Came here for dinner on a Sunday night with a party of five and got seated immediately. The inside is very cozy.... I got the blue cheese crusted steak with arugula mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Fairly priced too. Highly recommend. Read more
Have been trying out restaurants on Resy and this one seemed interesting and close by so we gave it a shot since we often go out... on Clement St. For a Saturday night the place seemed understaffed and service although friendly and welcoming, left a littlelacking in terms of follow up once the meal was served. That said the food was overpriced, $8 garlic fries, $4 for 3 small cutsof corn bread, and pasta with no bread or Parmesan offered? Based on price the only dish to merit the cost was the salmon andthe cocktail which was very tasty. Not sure I’d revisit unless a lot were to change. Read more
Greg takes such good care of us, everytime. Chef Lewark & the kitchen always treat us to seasonal, tasty bites @ a reasonable... price point. It's our go to in the Inner Richmond for sure. Read more
