I was the guest of mu friend Bill and his son, Sammy. We had a tofu dish, a chicken dish with a kind of sweet n' sour sauce... (ordered by the teenager) and my oder, an outstanding Kung Pou Pork (they couldn't fill an order of shredded Pork). We also hadsteamed Dumplings. Everything was delicious, with a generoud serving sized. The service was attentive and friendly. I highlyrecommend Henry's Hunan, SoMa. Read more

The place is unique - atleast their table is unique. They have this revolving kind of table in case you come with a large group... of people. I am vegetarian so I had limited options - but I had options. But from what I heard from others food was really good.Their USP is that you get complementary green tea. Read more

This was one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. I decided to dine here tonight and it was not as good as It was pre pandemic.... Orange chicken was flavorless and the chow mein was cold. Customer service good. Unfortunately food wasn?t great! Read more

Walked in, read the menu, ordered takeout and less than 10 minutes later I am out the door with my food. First time at Henry's... and I wish I was prepared to sit and have a meal, but I was unprepared. Have proof of vaccine if you wish to eat dine-in.Friendly and quick. I have a bit of sticker shock ordering pork belly in spicy chile $18.72 total, but I was intrigued. The dishwas different than what I imagined, but this may be normal as I chose without a picture and with not enough questions asked onmy part. I will order differently next time and check out their $11 weekday lunch plate. Many patrons looked happy with theirchoices who dined in. Read more

I was expecting another average kung pao dish thinking it was gonna be a mild dish full of onions. Nope. Soon as I open it can... see they got the extra spicy request right! Fresh crisp veggies w a snap and this rivals my fave place in my old S San Joseneighborhood. I walked back to work on Harrison Ave and the soup was still burning hot. Nice! Read more
