Went on a saturday at noon when it was pretty busy, bit of a line, which in hindsight is a bit perplexing. 5 of us split 3... sandwiches and i don?t think any of us were very happy with what we received. The ?Ruben? is not an actual Reuben, barely anymeat on it, and who puts fresh vegetables on a Reuben? The steak was tough on another sandwich, and another friend got theItalian sandwich which had cucumbers instead of pepperoncini on it, which really annoyed him. Hands-down, still one of the BEST sandwich spots in the eastern half of San Francisco. Best quality. Friendliest staff.
This place is affordable, fast, and delicious. I am only giving it four stars because some of the sandwiches are extremely oily... (like dripping with oil soaking my hands) and the bagels are small. Still definitely worth visiting. Read more
