Ordered the spicy aromatic salad with beef ribeye, chicken and rice, and the blistered green beans. The salad is authentic, a... great sour kick with fresh greens, resulting in a pleasant aftertaste. The chicken and rice is amazing, tender juicy chicken + agreat sauce with a great serving of rice. The green beans with bacon are crispy, the bacon adds a mouth watering fatty flavorbomb in your mouth. Glad I came, it's a lot of fun! Read more

Delicious!!! Super cute restaurant with string lights inside, outdoor seating, and an entire upstairs bar. Food is sooo good. I... wish they would space out the food a buit more so it gives more time to eat and drink more :) Read more

this place was okay overall and wouldn’t come back here. no aspects were redeeming considering all the great neighboring... restaurants. atmosphere felt sticky and dirty, maybe due to the poor lighting, sticky table cloths and run down atmosphere. itdidn’t feel welcoming nor set the tone well chicken and rice: came slightly cold and wasn’t a huge fan. with hainanesechicken, the cut matters so much but thought there was too much fat and ligaments in the chicken pieces virgin sacrifice drink:too sweet for me, reminded me of drinks you get at all inclusives. I stopped by yesterday to get a drink and some dinner to go. Attentive bartender, and good service. I ordered the pigs eat... appetizer which was not bad, though a bit salty for my taste. The tamarind soup and the panang curry get 1/ zero stars. Tamarindsoup was super mediocre, no fresh or clear flavors coming through. The panang curry was super sweet, with very poor qualityclearly frozen shrimp, not what you would expect from what looked like a decent kitchen. The rice ball salad was good, andsatisfying, nothing else unfortunately. I have really enjoyed Laotian food in the past, and this was a big letdown... Itsprobably a good spot for apps and drinks, but from my experience, a big no for dinner. Read more

Okayyyy!!!! So there we was with no plans walking down the Mission passing by bustling full restaurants. As we approached the... end of Valencia, full of doubts and defeat of finding a restaurant to dine at during this peak dinner hour. Stopping to take abreak in front of Hawker Fare, I inquired about the wait time. There were a few guests before us who had reservations so Ididn't have a lot of faith. The host quickly asked us how many we had (3), if we had a reservation (no), and asked to see ourvax status. Then he turned and asked us to follow him to which we were promptly seated. Wow! We ordered food, it arrived, andwe ate happily. The food was yummy, filling, and came out quickly. The crispy rice salad is a catch, and the pork belly is sofatty and filling. The service here is pretty messy and super rushed, which is probably why there aren't great ratings on hereor Yelp. Lots of seats in here though and an excellent atmosphere! I'd like to be back Have fun :) Read more

Overall, a good food experience outdoors in the mission. The BBQ chicken was nicely brined and cooked, the grilled sticky rice... had great and fresh flavor, and charred green beans were delicious (just a bit oily). The bad was that the chicken rice wasovercooked and our service was very very slow. It didn't seem like there were many people working given the amount of guests. Read more
