Great shop they have these waffle things that are really good freshly made.
Reasonable prices for great food and drinks. When I entered the store, at around 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday, there were no other... customers. The menu had a good variety of foods and drinks, so I asked for the cashier's recommendation. She told me the itemson the menu with the picture of the happy lemon were popular, so I chose the Lemon Yakult w/ Aloe. She asked me if I wanted fullsweetness and I responded with "75%." I saw a poster on a case of desserts advertising the Boba Milk Tea Cake. I haven't hadBoba cake before, so I ordered it. Also, I asked the cashier how long they've been sitting there, and she responded "they'remade every day." My total was about $12. While waiting, I look around. The store had a display of white roses on the checkoutcounter. Containers filled with clear, individually wrapped plastic straws were on the pickup counter. Inside the store, therewere tables flanked by yellow chairs, but there was also one table with chairs outside. One of the employees told me my thingswere ready about two minutes after I ordered. My drink was very cold, and the cake was cold too. I foolishly went to the publicseating area across the street and consumed my items in the cold. I started with the cake. It was a spongy, three layeredsquare, about three by three inches, and covered with salted cheese foam which was topped with boba pearls, and tasted greatdespite being a salty cake. In the drink, the tanginess of the yogurt complemented the citrus-y lemon flavor perfectly. Theservice, the drink, and the cake weren't mind-blowing, but still pretty good. If it wasn't a cold day, I think I would'veenjoyed the order more, but I don't regret buying it. There are probably better boba shops in San Francisco, but if you'relooking for a quick purchase between bus transfers at the transit center or would like a quick snack or drink, this is the placefor you. Tried the bubble waffle? took a little while to make but it was delicious!
They do seem to be a bit overwhelmed. There are 2 people in the store working and one of them was doing most of the orders and... seemed a bit overwhelmed. My drink was delicious and well prepared, the drink maker was super sweet and took care of me. It didtake a few extra minutes to come out but I could see she had a lot on her plate. Read more
