Super disappointed with my first time trying this place. It had excellent reviews, so I was excited, but the food was... unfortunately really bad. I ordered the chicken chili momo and the braised lamb shank. I couldn't decide between the classicmomo and the chili one, which the server informed me was fried. It is fried and then slathered in spicy ketchup. Ew!! I wish Ihad ordered the steamed one. The braised lamb shank took super long to make (other tables got food and left before we got ours)and it tasted super tough. Instead of braising it (slow cooking), it tasted like they just boiled it and served it. We had tocut it off the bone with a knife and it was super difficult. It should have fallen off the bone. The cook seemed apologetic thatthe meal took a long time. So unfortunate because I like Nepalese food and was hoping this spot would be good. Read more

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: One of the better Nepalese places I've been to in the city. The extended... review... Food: Buff Momos - 4/5 - A very hearty dumpling and tasty at that. These are fairly big and are a good way to startthe meal. Lamb Korma - 4/5 - A very tasty lamb dish. The sauce is rich and flavorful and there is a good amount oflamb. Garlic Naan - 4/5 - Pretty standard fare and a good way to compliment my main. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentiveservice. Ambiance: 4/5 - A fairly bright and cheerful interior. Read more

What a good experience there. 4.9 review was truly worth it. As a Nepalese guy and tired so many Nepali restaurants in US,... different atmosphere and good food. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure. Read more

Good food, decent service, and comfortable space. Unfortunately cilantro ended up on everything despite us asking for none, and... it was too diced-up to pick out. Read more

Great little spot just south of Golden Gate Park. The food was delicious, amazing service and plenty of variety. The restaurant... is family run and their passion for the food really comes through. Loved it! Read more

No need for reservations. Walk ins welcome. We went in afternoon on a Saturday, had no problem getting a table. Food was good... but the star was the appetizer which was samosa chaat. I’ve only ever had samosas which are good but this plate put it on awhole other level! Must try if you come here and like tasting new delicious foods. Read more
