It was fun to visit the origin of Ghirardelli. The fudge sundae was good, and I liked the whole vibe here in the square. I... wanted to get something special at the store for souvenir but everything looked like commercial chocolates that I can buy at anysupermarket in my neighborhood. But the sundae was worth it! A little expensive but large for two people. I recommend it forpeople who are in the area to just stop by. Read more

Decent sundae. Bit pricey. Get the samples at the place before you order anything as that might be sweet enough for you already

The sundae was very good. Very long queue tho, however, can find some small stores (selling same stuff) that has no queue.

Being one of the third oldest chocolate maker in the US, Ghirardelli SQ certainly is a historic landmark. And the world famous... chocolate fudge is no kidding. If you come to the US you have to pay a visit here. Read more

The ice cream is a must have. The sea salt caramel was amazing. Long line but was worth it.

Very large chocolate shop with desserts. The experience feels a bit commercialised, the chocolate is good. Does not feel unique... or too special in any way. Nice vibe around the area and building. Read more

Super yummy! But soooooo pricey! I mean yeah we ended up still buying the huge ice cream sundaes so i guess that?s the point but... still whoa! Very delicious service was ehhh. So you go order at the front little cashier place and then they give you a numberand you find a table (probably not clean) and sit. And someone comes out with your ice cream but they aren?t to happy to bethere and when you ask kindly if they don?t mind cleaning the table it?s like you are asking the server to spoon feed you theice cream. The cashier was super kind! I?m sorry i forgot her name but the servers mmmm. Maybe a bad day i mean it happens butnot the best experience. The little mini chocolate making station in the back was very cute! It made up for the actuallychocolate factory being closed. The decor is very old school too like an old ice cream shop that people went to on dates go haveshakes together very cute. Read more

This chocolate shop is definitely worth a visit. When you walk in you?ll be warmly greeted by a chocolate ambassador who will... suggest how to explore this confectionery maze. But you may find it difficult to pay attention as your senses are overwhelmed bythe smell of fresh baked waffle cones and the posh presentation of Ghirardelli?s selection. Friendly tip. There are two moreGhirardelli shops at this square. This is the largest of the three, but the others are worth seeing. Final thoughts. This is adeliciously divine destination that definitely deserves your dollars. Read more
