Name caught my own evil eye, so decided to walk in.. First impressions: surprised to see a door greeter checking ID's... but hey... it's Friday on Mission in SF! I asked the door person if there's a kitchen and she mentioned that it's pub grub with some Asianinfusion, something familiar yet unexpected, also excellent cocktails. Long bar with great overall aesthetics, 3 booths andseveral low tables with comfy looking lounge chairs, and a pool table. I post up at the corner of the bar furthest from thedoor. I scan a QR to see their menu which starts with their creative libations and ends with Amaro/Aperitif, with their foodmenu somewhere in the middle. I asked the bartender what they have on tap and he offered a tailored but respectable draft beerselection. I got the Fort Point Animal, which is a local offering great for any occasion(IPA, 7.5 ABV). As I had something towet my whistle I went back to explore the food on their menu, lots of inviting options but what sang to me was the OrangeChicken "Wings" (they use boneless thigh meat instead of actual wings... ????). Knowing I also wanted to pair it with one oftheir above-mentioned 'excellent cocktails', I asked about their El Gruño, a mezcal + fernet + ancho chile liqueur base withstrawb-balsamic, lemon, ginger to finish. The owner of the bar remarked they would pair very well together and banged one outfor me. Oh man... upon first sip I knew I made the right choice. Once the food came out I was excited to dig in and take moremeaningful sips of the elixir with it. Chicken was perfectly crispy while coated with the bruléed orange, evey bite with thekumquat ranch and scallions was balanced and as consistently tasty as the last, but when I washed it down with the El Gruño itwas like a flavor match made in heaven. Highly recommended! I was very happy to be a member of the clean plate club. To top itall off I had to get the Go-Go Juice for some café raspb-vanille sweetness and just a little more liquor with aged Read more

Impressive drink menu. Drinks about $14-16. The menu is listed online. Friendly staff. Plenty of seats at the bar, a couple of... booths and couches. Outdoor seating available. They have a pool table and two pin ball machine near the door. Retro glasses andmusic gave the place a fun vibe. Read more

Liked the vibe, came here with a team and the music was good and drinks were good variety. I'm docking them for the fact that my... backpack got caught in a glue trap that was under the couch I was sitting on, which was gross and now my backpack is all sticky.Be careful, this place could use a bit more TLC. We came across this little spot by accident when walking through the Mission district. Loved the bar staff, so friendly and... helpful, and they had two delicious non alcoholic cocktails on the menu (one with basil and the other with passionfruit). Thedecor inside is dreamy, with dark blue walls and beaded lighting. There was a cute little photo booth inside for us to takepics! Also a great pool table. Loved the ambience and will defo be back here again. Read more

45+ minutes + a reminder to get the drinks we ordered, and the place wasn't even busy. Maybe that's WHY it wasn't busy. The... drinks were also exceptionally weak and bland. The place is really nice otherwise, pool tables are a notable aspect that standsout. Just don't hesitate to remind the bartenders about your drinks or you'll be left waiting your whole night.
