I have been coming here for years now, and as one of the last independent venues in town, I think it's one of SF's treasures. ... The Monday night goth/industrial night is one of the most welcoming club environments I've been in anywhere; people look out foreach other. Good drinks and decent food help, but the people are what make this place worth coming to. Read more

Nice club with two main music rooms and a quieter pizza place. Regularly scheduled events, Theme nights, concerts, and special... events, most of which are 18+ (instead of 21+) so if you've got younger friends just joining the scene it's a good intro.Reasonable staff who take safety seriously. Strict with alcohol. I was at an 18+ event with my daughter last night. We were asked to leave when she was caught taking a sip... of my drink. 5 stars because every employee tried to give me a warning they were watching her. She is living in San Franciscofor a year of service. I am from NC visiting for her birthday. It was her first time at a club and her first time being askedto leave a club. We all have jobs to do and they were serious about doing theirs. Cool, small club. Great drinks. ???? Read more

Since I?m 20 this is one of the few clubs I can get into because they have a lot of 18+ events. I?ve been there three times and... gone to the different rooms and it?s so fun! I love love love the pop music video nights above DNA. The events in the main roomare super cool to. Feels like a rave lol. Its a super comfortable environment and like no one is judgemental. I would definitelyrecommend going here! They also sell pizza and food downstairs which is great! Be aware the water is $4 ???? only downside Read more

Two level venue with 4 bars. Large dance floor downstairs with stage, upstairs lounge and bar, second dance floor upstairs,... bottle service style seating, and an area overlooking the larger dance floor. Typically they play different music on the largedance floor vs the smaller one. Typically mostly straight club for 18+. But they do host gay parties. Ground floor is anattached pizza restaurant. Cool lounge, definitely a must to check out. Design of this place is reminiscent of the Regency Ballroom. Bartenders were grumpy... (and add themselves tips as if the cocktails aren't already $14!????) but oh well, can't be perfect. Cool place all in all! Read more

The venue was decent but somewhat small? alright for crowds of 100 or less. Didn?t get to try the pizza but I heard it was good.... All of the staff was really nice except for the manager or owner. I was put on the guest list and I have been going to a lot ofthe shows and working at them with a lot of these guys since about 2006. I was told I could put my backpack in the room theheadliners were keeping their stuff as well as hanging out. I was in the process of switching hotels and wound up going to theshow last minute after I was told I was confirmed. Went out to get sandwiches for myself and a friend, after I got back I wastold the owner started freaking out about a backpack being in a corner when it realistically wasn?t in anybody?s way. It wasalso sad that someone wound up losing their backpack that night? So I put it next to a garbage can by the merch table since I?vebeen to dozens of these shows with these people and I know I can trust them. Later on in the night the guy who was in chargewas just trying to rush everybody out of the door when nobody was even close to being completely packed up. He actually watchthe artists out of the venue when we were still out there and was extremely rude. He killed the whole entire vibe and Mannyother people would have handled that situation a lot differently? All of us remained polite and in character though. As abooking agent I would not recommend using this venue as a rental if you could find another spot unless their managementimproves. Other than that, it was a pretty cool spot? The bartender was cool and so was all of the security. Management? Who wasonly one guy, was extremely unpleasant to deal with and a complete buzz killer. Read more

All the staff was very friendly. Sound system for the concert was good. The slices of pizza were good, and they had several... options (a little pricey, but that's life in the big city). The concert ticket was very fairly priced. I would go again nexttime there is a show I want to see. Read more
