Such a cute experience to be had in the middle of Japantown. We ordered the holiday tea special and the presentation of the food... was beautiful. While the food looked awesome, the taste was so-so. The staff were friendly here. Read more

Came in on Sunday to celebrate a friend and right before I was going to bite down on my salad I noticed a bug!! We flagged the... waitress down which was very shocked when she saw the bug- she got the manager. The manager really made us feel so disrespectedby her gaslighting. The manager told us that this was " normal when eating non pesticide food" We told her it wasn't the firsttime we ate at an organic place, which seemed to be what she was insinuating. We told her this wouldn't be the case if theproducts were washed before using them. She seemed like it didn't bother her and was like yeah that too. She asked if we wanteda new salad and we were like NO! It was the most disgusting thing ever. She comped our order and said when we were done, wecould get up and leave. Very poor customer service provided by the manager at the time. We were just shocked of how she treatedus! We will def. not dine here again. Read more

Super cute place for afternoon tea in Japantown. Make a reservation on Yelp then check in at the cashier. If you just want a... tasting of everything, you can just order afternoon tea for one for sharing. I really liked the peach oolong tea. The sandwichesand scones were awesome, but the desserts of (cupcake, cheesecake, brownie etc) can be skipped. If I were to go again, I'd justwant sandwiches and scones. Read more

Delicious afternoon tea! It's definitely a more American version of British high tea :D (in terms of amounts) but it means you... definitely get your money's worth. You get enough food to fill you for the rest of the day. The picture shows ours portion whichwas for 3 people. Everything was really delicious. The location is a bit weird (like the entry of a small mall) and thedecorations are slightly over-the-top, to the side of kitchy. But the food is all that matters in the end :) Read more

This was such a wonderful experience! Went with a friend of mine and was thoroughly impressed by the service and the cheerful... staff. The tea was the standout for sure. They used such rich flavors and it took all my willpower not to slurp it downimmediately! The food was also very good and I felt like for the portion sizes, the price was fine. If you would like to go,definitely set up a reservation in advance, especially if you want to visit on the weekends! Read more

Wonderful experience at this place as they try to accommodate dietary needs such as vegetarian. The sandwiches, scones and... desserts are very tasty and filling. We thought the tea and food may not fill us for lunch but we had to box some home. Youcould order for two and it can be shared with 3 people. Read more

One of the best value afternoon tea experiences you'll find in the city, though I personally was not wowed by the food. They are... able to accommodate gluten free and dairy free (though some of their offerings do have baked in butter). They try to double youup on sweets if they can't make a certain item gluten free or dairy free though my gluten free friend did seem to have less foodthan me and my other friend. Unfortunately all 3 of our teas had tea leaves when we poured them into our cups, which issomething I've rarely seen before at these kinds of establishments. No outdoor seating, but they have high ceilings and try toseat guests further apart. Nice touch with the London memorabilia on the table. Service was excellent and staff were verypolite. Read more

A semi-hidden High Tea delight in the middle of San Francisco. The food is quite filling and really good. The crumpets are real,... not replaced with some fancy toast. Their crumpets taste like the ones that have to be kept in refrigeration (top quality) priorto serving. The blueberry scones were devine! A puffy chicken pot pie! Wow! I had a great experience. For me, the thorough themeof the restaurant and ambiance was the distraction I needed. Dare not feel those good childhood memories before taking thatfirst sip of tea. Read more
