Delicious and every dish was well thought out. Courses consisted of mainly seafood harvested from local areas. Pre fixe menu... only. Tea pairing goes nicely with meal. Read more

It's such a disappointment to write this review. I've been looking forward to coming here for quite a while and I wish I came... here under the old executive chef. Had an appointment at 8:30 the day before Valentine's day. We arrived about 5 minutes earlyand they seemed confused by our reservation. We also had to flag someone down to let them know that we were here. There wereonly two other couples in the dining room and three open tables. Only one dish stood out and everything else was very bland.Knowing that Coi was previously a three-star demoted to a two-star I still had high expectations regardless of all of thenegative comments. The food was nothing like they have on their website or their Instagram It was very simple very basic nothingthat screamed Michelin star. We did the wine pairing It was definitely enough wine to split one pairing for two people if thatwas an option. Both tables around us got to thank you gift of beat gummy bears and what looked like a little toffee. I wasdisappointed we did not get anything. At the end of the night our tasting came to $1,300 and for the experience it wasdefinitely not worth it and I'd have taken my money and gone to a better restaurant. Like I said Coi has been on my top list fora really long time and right now is just not worth it until something changes. Read more

TLDR: For the same price, I?d recommend Quince or Saison. Food was great, albeit in my opinion with a little less character... than the ?art gallery rustic farm table? of Saison. Service was good, but pales in comparison with the nearby truly phenomenalservice of Quince (which has a modern European elegance). Was still a wonderful experience, but at this level I think there?s alot that?s just personal preference. Great seafood dishes, that was a highlight. I will say that I think the music choice wasin poor taste. With this kind of ambience you?d expect something more subdued and sophisticated (I was hearing classic rock). Read more

Amazing experience! Set menu only and very considerate of dislikes or allergies. Elaborate wine pairing and tea pairing as... alternative. Very nice staff. This isn't just food but an evening worth of tastes and a good time. Read more

Great, intimate dining experience. A couple of absolute standout dishes. Best lamb I've ever had. The buttermilk ice cream and... toasted oats was a surprisingly fulfilling dish. Read more

I will leave it to the foodie to get into the details of the food offerings. The service was on point without being to stuffy.... The space is simple yet elegant which a lot like each plate of food, cleanly and beautifully presented without clutter. Withoutan element that?s not contributing to the dish. The parting give, black Truffle pastry, both sweet and salty the same time. Sogood!! Read more

My wife and I dined at Coi last night. Every aspect of the experience was perfect. The food was delicious, creative, and... beautiful. The wine pairings were a fantastic enhancement as well and were expertly matched with each dish. The service was topnotch, and just what you would expect for a top tier establishment. We definitely recommend Coi! Read more

Beautiful food, good wine pairings, nice but awkward service, and *mediocre tasting dishes overall*, experience felt really... uninspired compared to other two star Michelen restaurants and not at all worth the price. Their reputation is for theirexcellent presentation and yes it was excellent but so it should be at this level, it didn't stand out compared to theircompetitors and I'd rather have good tasting food and a more considered dining experience if I'm paying over $1200 for two. Infact I've come to expect going to a place like Coi and being blown away by the food and experience. This was just disappointingin the end, never been to a two star or even a one star and walked away disappointed like that. Few examples: sea urchin wasdrowned in creme and had little other flavor, oyster just tasted like lettuce, bass had little flavor to the dish other thanparsley and celery despite the many components, hope you like celery. Just so much competition and drowned out flavors, no aromaor heat. No inspiration. And subtle seafood can be phenomenonal, if they were going for subtle, delicate flavors they failedthere too. The skate and the fin herb sorbet were the only two standout dishes I really enjoyed and felt on the level I waslooking for being both beautiful and delicious. Read more
