Nice neighborhood place. Food is kinda hit and miss, and the chairs are quite uncomfortable. Our appetizers came out after the... entrees, and the beef skewer was pretty tough. So shrug. Read more

Had the shio ramen with pork belly. The pork was tender and had good add-ons. Ordered spicy but it wasn't really and they only... gave half an egg. Read more

Great food! Need a QR scanner to get the menu when sitting inside. It also requires to sign in with an email to get the Menu... document. The Ramen bowls has tasty broth, and great proteins. They also have a vegan Ramen option. Read more

For me, I think the Ramen is good. Takoyaki is ok. Karaage is not good. Chicken katsu is ok. Curry doesn't taste like curry but... is ok. Rice is a big no, cold and sticky. By the way, I like the Yuzu & white peach soda. Read more

My brother and I came at 6:30pm on a Saturday and found ourselves with a short 5 minute wait. We did end up sharing a table with... another party of 2 though because space is a premium here. I opted for garlic miso ramen, mild spicy, with pork shoulder whilemy brother went with curry ramen, medium spicy, with pork belly. At first, I felt like my noodles were a little less than aldente and too chewy, but as I let it soak in the broth a little longer, it did eventually reach the right chewiness for me. Butwhat was most memorable for me was the pork shoulder! Most places slice their char-siu paper thin so to come to a place thatgave (3) solid 1/4" slices was amazing! It was also tender and super flavorful to boot - a must try, in my opinion! I alsotraded one slice to my brother for a slice of the pork belly. It was also very good: tender and melt in your mouthdecadent...but I definitely felt like the char-siu is a winner here. We also opted to share an order of agedashi tofu. Deliveredpiping hot and freshly fried, I thought it hit all the right notes. All in all, as far as ramen goes in San Francisco, I haveto say that Coco's Ramen was probably one of the better ones I've had lately. Portion size is very fair, quality is great, andprice point is right without all the nickel and dime extras. Read more

The kama collar was super tasty. The ramen was tasty, though the broth was a little lighter than I normally enjoy. The service... was really friendly and the atmosphere really cozy! Read more

Not a bad bowl of ramen, but seems to lack some key flavors. Karaage was also a bit lacking and not as crispy and juicy as one... would hope. I've had worse in Japan and I've had better in the states. So if you're looking for a true, great bowl of ramen lookelsewhere. If you're looking for a bowl of ramen to satisfy a quick craving, this will suffice. Read more

There's a good amount of style happening at this little ramen-ya. The interior is pretty dark with lots of rich wooden fixtures... making for a cozy atmosphere. Their menu offers seven different varieties of traditional and modern bowls but on this visit Isampled the Miso Ramen. The miso broth was excellent with a dark color and a solid medium spice. The noodles were fantastic -wavy with decent firmness. The garnish included a soy egg that was cooked to my ideal firmness. Bamboo, fungi, and sprouts werealso included as garnish. My main complaint is that the bowl contained too many sprouts. The chashu pork was very good with anice smokey flavor. The chashu was cooked a cooked a little more well done than some of the other recent bowls I've had but thatreally worked to it's advantage. My wife was even a fan and she never usually enjoys the chashu. Overall, this bowl wassatisfying and packed with flavor. Read more
