Super yummy pad Thai and papaya salads ! Better than most of Thai restaurants in SF . Large portions and they were so flavorful.

The food isn?t bad. But I don?t know how you can charge dinner price for a lunch size meal? The Pad Pak was half rice in the... box. Most places have the rice separate or have it this way for a $10 lunch plate. I was going to give 3 stars but then $12 for4 curry puffs annoyed me. You can get the same quality and quantity for $9 else where. Also I never seen this type of mushroomin a Thai Tom Yum dish before. This type of mushroom is good in a Japanese noodle soup. It was very over priced. What you canimprove on is lower the price or add more food and keep the rice separate. I?ll be eating somewhere else that is moreaffordable. Read more

The chicken is cooked alone, without any salt or seasoning. Then, only after it is cooked, peanut sauce or whatever else is... added. This is done to save time and makes the food taste bland. Meat is never meant to be cooked alone! Read more

Kinda hit or miss. Sometimes it?s really good, sometimes it?s not. When it?s good, it?s really good! When it?s not, it?s almost... inedible. They?ve got a decent menu, and it?s not even crazy expensive for San Francisco Thai food. The staff is prettyfriendly, and their takeout is always fast. It?s a really cozy place inside and they?re never too busy. Read more

Ordered take out near the end of the lunch hour and they were helpful and knowledgeable over the phone. Delicious satay and tom... kha gai (odd with cabbage, though). The eggplant dish had wonderful flavor. The crispy pork belly with rice was plentiful butunderwhelming. I will go back, I've been having a hard time finding decent Thai food in the city, so I'm glad I randomly droveby this place and saw that it existed (very odd location). Read more

I was in San Francisco, looking for a new Thai restaurant, when I came across Chaiya Thai. I ordered my favorite Thai dish, pad... prik king, along with some rice and a Thai iced tea. I went on a short walk in West Portal, returning about 15 minutes later toget my food, which was all securely packaged. Not really wanting to sit in my car, I found some steps at a nearby business whichwas closed for the day. I love spicy Thai food, and this dish completely lived up to my expectations. It was sinus-clearing hot, which some might not like. But I thought it was fantastic. The portion was quite generous, and I took about half of it home toshare with my 15-year-old, who also really enjoyed it. I hope to return and try other menu items. Read more

Really, really delicious meal. Started off with the vegan fresh rolls, which were tasty, but could have used a little less leafy... greens and a bit more crunch or flavor within the wrap. Still tasty though. I split the red curry with veggies and the Pad CU(without eggs or fish sauce) with my mom. Pad CU is one of my favorite Thai dishes and this was totally bomb. In short, costsare mid-range, service was quick and friendly, and there were enough vegan options, life is good, belly is happy but stillfeeling fresh. Read more

I ordered the pad woon sen and green curry via Cavisr, and while the meal got a tad pricey after all the convenience fees, it... was delicious!! Cravings definitely satisfied, and the menu was vegetarian friendly. Somehow I made 5 meals out of this so itwas worth it! Read more
