Stopped by for some banh mis on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not too crowded. We ordered the combo and crispy... chicken; both were $10 which was a bit more expensive than expected. Both sandwiches were very tasty, and the chicken wasperfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! But giving 4 stars since there are cheaper options in the area withsimilar/better quality! Read more

Cafe bunn mi always delivers. They are super consistent with the quality of their food. I usually go for the crispy chicken... sandwich, it's bomb! Somehow they manage to making something fried feel lighter by adding in all the fresh and pickled veggies. This sandwich is really filling. You won't leave hungry. They also add a sweet and sour sauce to the crispy chicken sandwich. They used to be cash only but they accept card now. Ordering can take some time if it's crowded. If there is only 2-3 people infront of you they'll get the food out to you pretty quick. I think it's reasonably priced for what you get. It's an order at thecounter and take a number kind of place if you are dining in. The ambience is super casual. You'll need to ask if you want waterand the tables aren't always clean. It's a whole in the wall kind of spot so nothing fancy but great food . Read more

I?ve tried a lot of Banh mi in the city and this is by far the best. I have tried it just once so it could have been a fluke but... if they can consistently deliver, this place will now be my goto. Read more

great vegetarian option in the inner Richmond in San Francisco! i ordered the Buddha Tofu Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwich. crunchy... bread, nice crispy breaded tofu, and super fresh veggies/toppings. good amount of spice and i was very full. cheap prices - itwas just $9 plus tax and tip. but also $2.50 for a water bottle since they won?t give you water lol. would be great fortakeout, too. very fast! as far as ambiance: it?s a walk-up counter with an old school, efficient vibe. you?re here for a goodtime not for a long time, although the size of the clock would tell you otherwise. i?ll be back soon! Small place with a cozy and lovely aesthetic. Both me and my friend got the crispy duck banh mi sandwich and liked it a lot,... though I personally would have preferred more pickled daikon. The service was quick and the food was tasty. I would go again totry their other food! Sandwich wait time ? five minutes, cash only and after tax total was $13 and change. Read more
