Heard great things about this place. Overall experience was fine. But the food did not disappoint. Really good food.... Particularly liked the pork belly with mustard greens. Savory and balanced. I could eat that pork all day. Jasmine rice, beefcurry, and eggplant shrimp were solid picks. Not a huge fan of the tea leaf salad despite it being a fan fave. Presentation anddecor were top notch. Rustic vibes. Downside was the service. Bit of a wait despite the restaurant being mostly empty. Probablyshort staffed. Totally forgivable. But our server was not having it with us. Disinterested and seemed like would rather beanywhere else. Questions about the menu and food were replied with terse, even cold, answers. Again, I want to give the benefitof the doubt. Perhaps a long shift with staff shortage. Also, not a fan of the worker benefit service charge. I support thecause but why add it at the end of the bill without notice? I’d want it included in the price of the food. Pay them a properwage! Suggested tip was on top of taxes and the extra benefits charge which left a bad taste in my mouth. Read more

We came here as a big group with a fixed menu. Overall the food was good. Tea Leaf Salad was great. The coconut rice was great.... Some of the dishes were meh, like the beef curry. Overall good food and flavor, but probably not the best Burmese you can find. Read more

Not sure I ever had Burmese food previously and now I’m wondering why this food isn’t more prevalent…it’s like an... amazing fusion of Chinese, Thai and Indian cuisines. The Tea Leaf Salad was special as hyped. The Platha app was unexpectedlygood though. We ordered the pork belly mustard greens main entry which was great. Preferred that over the Wok Tossed Chili dishwith beef but it was still good so it’s all relative. Beyond that, our sever Jimmy was great and the cocktails were wonderful. Read more

Burma love is my love now. I heard about this place from my coworker, she is from Asia and spoke very highly about this place.... They also sell Tea Leaf salad in Whole foods market. Regarding my experience, I had a good time in Butma love. Our server Natwas very nice and knowledgeable we sat outside and stuff turned on the outside heater which was nice as well. The hostess wassuper friendly and we were the first customers on that day. Our food didn't keep us waiting and EVERYTHING from starters todesert was high quality and yummy. I liked House made Burma Ale (wheat) which reminded me about German double bock style ofbeer. One hour and a half passed faster than I wanted too. Read more

The ambience of the place is top notch! But, this place is definitely expensive compared to other Burmese food joints in the Bay... Area. Went with high expectations for Tea leaf salad, which they could’ve done better. Tried their superstar noodles which wasalso okayish. But, the service staff were friendly! So points to that. Read more
