Carlos was an absolutely amazing bartender. He created two really stunning drinks for me. He indulged mean in a cocktail that he... had not heard of and he made it really well. He also mentioned that he really likes old-fashions and does them well. For dinner,he recommended the Shan noodles. I got them with tofu, they were a great pairing with my drinks. Aside from that, it was goodand fast service for a busy Tuesday night. Glad that the restaurant is doing well. Read more

This was a place recommended by all locals. So you can’t go wrong with that. We ordered all new things from the menu that... others had not tried. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari which was not what we expected but even better. The calamari wasdeep fried and cruspy but not sliced thinly as usual. They were good big meaty chunks. It was served along with a sweet andtangy sauce and sliced jalapeños and this combination is the best we had all ever had. It was our favourite dish. We also gotthe tea leaf salad which is mixed in front of you by the server. It could do with a little more tang or maybe lemon. We got thespicy noodles wit chicken which had a sweet and spicy flavour. And the last thing we got was the chilli lamb which was perfectlycooked with great flavour. The service and the food was on point and a must visit for all. Read more

No trip to SF is complete without Burmese food and this place was awesome. The appetizers are the highlight here, the samosa... soup and tea leaf salad are delicious. For entrees, we liked the minced chicken but would skip the garlic noodles. Lastly, themango lassi might’ve been the best lassi I’ve had in a while! Read more

Lovely spot for Burmese food. We ordered a bunch of different meals to be shared with our group, but a few favorites of mine... were the tea leaf salad and the platha & dip. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. A great experience overall. Read more

The pork belly dish and chicken wings appetizer were amazing. This restaurant is one of my new favorites for sure and the... ambiance is great! I also highly suggest the coconut rice. It pairs greatly with the curry. Read more

I’ve had Burmese food before but this was my first time at Burma Love. We don’t have many options for Burmese down in Orange... County, CA. This was my friend’s first time trying Burmese food so needless to say we were both excited. We chatted with someguests who had been here before and they raved about it. The hostess also said everything was good. The server said nothing is amiss. With so much hype, I honestly didn’t believe it. BUT… LET, ME, TELL, YOU..all three dishes we ordered were SO good! The tea leaf salad was flavorful and refreshing. The string beans (my favorite dish) were perfectly cooked with so much flavor. It had a little heat, a little sweetness, a little savory..and a whole lot of deliciousness. The coconut chicken curry (myfriend’s favorite dish) was so comforting. This is now on my SF must eat list for myself and for friends and family. Read more

Had a great time at Burma Love. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable, and the food was great. The Fiery... Vegetables had crisp vegetables, firm tofu, and tender chicken. The Garlic Noodles were garlicky and toothsome, with peanuts, zucchini, and tofu. Lastly, the Shrimp Chutney was rich and savory, with bold seafood flavors and an excellent spice. Thecoconut rice is a definite upgrade, with a sweetness that perfectly contrasted the savory dishes. Ask for a side of Thai chilis, which are minced and lightly acidic, and outrageously spicy. Overall a great dining experience and I will be back as soon aspossible. Read more
