There was a bug on the table. The owner was utterly nonchalant about it. Appeared condescending. We didn't complete the entire... meal and merely asked for the check. I was more than happy to pay for the drinks but was shocked to see he removed the price ofone meal from a party of 3. (It was a fixed price dinner on Thanksgiving day.) We were also celebrating my partner's birthday.Rather poor end to the evening. Read more

Duck confit pesto pasta was delicious as was the mushroom bolognese. Service was stellar. This was a non tipping restaurant... which felt odd because it was the best service we have had at any restaurant in San Francisco. Lovely decor as well. Artychic. Read more

This is a great option among restaurants in SFO downtown. Good food, different taste, but especially kind and warm service. Cake... is the best, it is textured, deep flavors and not too sweet. They have a great variety of wine from Napa Valley and Sonoma. Iordered roasted chicken and it was juicy and golden in the shell. Beautiful place for special but relaxing way to celebratelife. Modern, clean, pleasant...professional atmosphere! Good for business meetings! Walked in for lunch around 12:30 and found a... table right away. Very creative way of serving food. The Cabana Skiff cocktail was way too sweet for my taste, but it was notbad. The open-faced deviled egg sandwich was a perfect size for me, but prob a little small for the majority. I was a little bitdisappointed with my waiter: I specifically asked if there are onions in the sandwich. She said there will just be a few smallpieces in the egg mix, to have my sandwich served with big onion pieces on top all over. She apologized, saying she doesn’tusually works lunch shifts. I did manage to pull the onions on the side. I enjoyed my lunch overall and would go back one day... Read more

Food was amazing and great pairing of flavours and ingredients used. Upscale breakfast spot. So for the price you pay you would... expect the stuff to least land out steak nice to cut into your meal... but we had to request for it... and she was also in arush to send us off. The moment we finished our meal, she billed us out. Such a shame that the restaurent would have this kindabehaviour. But the lady who received and sat us down was very sweet and pleasant:) Read more

Bluestem is a little generic and caters to the conference crowd, but make no mistake, it's a classy establishment. Service is... always spot on and the ambiance is casual get refined. The food is nothing to write home about, but delivers consistently withgreat execution. If you have a chance to catch their 5 year anniversary Honolulu cake for dessert, do it. Read more
