I got the beef short rib, which looked delicious but turned out to be a little dry and underseasoned. Not terrible, but I'd been... anticipating so much more. Restaurant was relaxed and pleasant, and they were pouring good wine. There was also an issue wherethe area around the restroom was flooded. I assume this is temporary and I saw them bringing in a pump, so they were taking careof it, so I don't want to make too big a deal of it. Read more

LOVED this pub! It was super crowded so definitely get there early but I understand why. I didn't know the waiter's name but he... sounded Irish or Scottish but he gave excellent service. He was very kind and constantly checking in- even though we could tellhe was a bit overworked. He was also really nice to my son and offered me milk with my tea- that never happens and it was sorefreshing. And the food was AMAZING. Definitely go and try it. Read more

Food was good quality and quantity. Ask for your steak a little rarer thank you want. The tiger prawns were perfectly cooked,... tender and opaque. Read more

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: A nice place in the castro to get a big hunk of meat. The extended... review? Food: Lobster Mac and Cheese ? 4/5 ? So rich, creamy, and flavorful. Be sure to have a side of lactaid with thisdish. Lamb Chops ? 3/5 ? Nicely cooked lamb chops. Pretty standard fare. Brussel Sprouts ? 4/5 ? These brussels were verynicely flavored. Can?t complain about these puppies. Steak ? 3.5/5 ? A nice well cooked steak and a good portion for twopeople. Opera Cake ? 3/5 ? Pretty standard fare. Service: 4/5 ? Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 4/5 ? A decentamount of tables and they are well spread out. It?s a cute neighborhood joint. Read more

A "just okay" dining experience for us as we stumbled upon Blind Butcher by chance while walking around the neighborhood - the... menu outside looked appealing so we decided to give it a try. The staff was really friendly and responsive and was quick toattend to our table. The ambience was dark and moody- unfortunately a little TOO dark for an early dinner (I could barely seethe food on my plate). On to the food- we got the burger split in half. Not too much going for it. It's a big slab of wagyuburger served in a ciabatta bun (odd choice as it was a little crusty and tough, not what you'd imagine for a burger), arugulasalad - a bit underseasoned and lacked dimension (the vinaigrette dressing was a bit bland), and lastly, the octopus - just OK,generous servings but lacked a whole lotta oomph. Tiramisu for dessert was very plain. Read more
