Beit Rima was one of the several places that we visited during our stay in San Francisco. We actually traveled about 40 minutes... to get here and it was well worth it. My husband ordered the Lamb Shank and I ordered the Beef Kabob Plate. The Lamb Shank camein a stew/soup of sorts, which according to my husband, was perfection. The Beef Kabobs were a little dry, but had great flavor.I'm not sure of what the sauce was that was drizzled over the rice, but it was delicious as was the hummus. Incredibly pleasedwith the food and so glad we ended up here for lunch. Read more
Some of the best food in the city!! We had them cater our wedding a year ago and it was amazing. The food was delicious and we... ate leftovers for a week. "If this is married life, I shoulda done it years ago!" They were nominated for a James Beard andrightly so, this food is good! Read more

Today was very special to me ontop of being my first time here. Samir made my experience next level. His hospitality was... excellent. My work friend had invited me here and how I gained my experience. This food is the first time anything reminded meof home..which is hard for any place to do. I just felt like I was home here. This place has something truly special, I shouldknow, I'm sort of a Mediterranean food expert. The chicken kabobs were juicy, Hummus on point, Zatar on the bread with Lebna wasas authentic as it gets. This food is special and I wish the locals understood Palestinian traditional foods. Lastly, thedessert was the crown jewel of my night. As a gift for our visit, without any warning, Samir made us feel like royalty withMuhalabia. I haven't had this dessert since my grandmother passed away and she used to make it from scratch. Can anyone tellthat I was impressed ???? Thank you Samir for your generousity and hospitality ?????? It be excellent! My favorite kind of restaurant, casual atmosphere with incredible food. - Mezze sampler: The easy choice. Each... dip is aromatic, vibrant and flavorful. I was really impressed by the subtle spice in the ful, the richness of the lebna, andthe pickled acidity in the hummus. Falafel is the best I've had in a restaurant since Berlin, crisp outside with an herbaceousinterior. Supremely well done. - Chicken Shish Plate: Stunning portion of tender, charred, garlicky chicken skewers resting onsauteed peppers and onions, all on a mountain of seasoned rice. Generous amount of hummus on the side, with some pita. -Shakshuka: Big cumin presence, light spice and balanced sweetness from the pepper and tomato. Nice when scooped up with somelebna, but I'll pass on this one next time. - Muhalabia - thick milk pudding topped with cinnamon, rose petals, pistachios, andorange blossom water. Subtle sweetness with light floral aroma, really lovely. All enjoyed with a glass Petite Ferme Rouge fromMorocco, nice light & bright red blend with some oak finish that matched the tanginess of the mezze and char of the chicken. Iwas even able to swap the muhammara with ful on the mezze, since I have a stupid walnut allergy. Really nice. Had a great timeand will definitely be back. Read more
