The price-quality ratio of their tapas is not as expected. We paid more than 50 USD per person for not much food. I understand... that the tapas are always small, but the price is not commensurate. If you go to another restaurant like Picaro, for example, the tapas have the same "intermediate" quality and are bigger and cheaper (i.e 14 Bask vs. 10/11 Picaro). Read more

We happened to find this gem quite serendipitously. First up- they have an actual Spanish Mourvedre. If that's not awesome... enough they have a section of menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes- we tried many and all were great but the highlight of themall was a set of terrific vegan lamb meatballs. I thought they would taste just like most simulated meat but was rathersurprised at the pleasant texture and aftertaste. Great choices and presentation on desserts as well- one star deducted for astrawberry sauce that just didn't pair with the chocolate lava cake. Read more

One of the best meals I?ve had in SF. Wasn?t able to find a spot at one of the ?fancier? restaurants in the neighborhood and... found ourselves here and couldn?t be more thankfully. The goat cheese and shrimp dishes along w the lamb were out of this world Read more

Had a meal here last week while in San Francisco on holiday from the U.K. Food was lovely with portion sizes just right?.not... piled high but not small either. The atmosphere was very relaxed?it seemed to be a place people went to meet up with friends. There was lots of laughter around us?a lovely place to eat & relax. Staff were very friendly, didn?t rush us to leave but leftus to enjoy our food at our own pace, checking in on drinks and that we were ok. A lovely place and one I would go back toregularly if I lived in San Fran. Read more

Delicious food, grilled octopus is must try. Spanish style fried chicken surprised me. Paella Royale is too salty for me.

Amazing food, amazing service and a beautiful and caring owner! We were in a quick trip to SF to relax and are self professed... foodies. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Spanish restaurant with reservation openings! After tasting this food, I'm amazedthey had openings. We ordered different tapas to share, Paella, and dessert. The owner helped us pair wine and beer with ourdishes. This is what I love. Amazing food with a personal experience. We will be back every time we visit the city Read more

What an absolutely pleasant surprise this was. After a certain joint whose paella went down, we had been hunting for a... replacement for over a year now and boy did we strike gold!! The squid ink paella is an absolute flavor bomb in your mouth withevery single spoon to the last scrape!! And it was not just the paella, the mushrooms, the gambas and even the bread , warm andcrunchy that we had to ask for more to soak up everything! The crab croquettes and octopus was also decent. They had a smallcocktail menu, but the one drink that my wife ordered she loved so much that she immediately ordered another one! This one goesstraight into my favorites! Read more
