Very disappointed in there service. They claimed they didn?t take reservations but then put reserved signs on tables next to us.... Furthermore, this was a wedding celebration, we spent at least $1000. Someone brought in a cake for them and they said therewill be a charge for that when we asked how much they said ?they haven?t decided yet.? This service was so disappointing. When Iordered lemonade without ice because the ice hurts my teeth they didn?t give me a full glass and accused me of ordering alemonade with less ice so I could have more lemonade. My sister the bride is still upset this morning due to this service. Therewere two nice people which is why she is not writing a review but at the end of the day I?m listening to my sister incrediblyupset because 2 of the servers were insanely rude. They tried to tell us they had a big party coming in and there was a timelimit. All that was a lie. Furthermore, there were people in our group that are wine club members here. This was my sisterswedding day(civil ceremony) before the Mexico big wedding. They should have treated us better. She attempted to make areservation two weeks ago and they said no reservations on Friday and then proceeded to put reserved signs on tables around usso we would not use them. It?s good that 2 people were nice to us because had they not been you would have more than just thisnegative review. We tip well and spent lots of money, the service should have been better. If you want to spend a lot of moneyon food and wine, I?d recommend you go somewhere else where they are not so mean. Read more

I definitely just found my new hang for select bottle of Californian wine. From the moment I walked in the staff was eager to... give me a brief but thorough lesson on Californian wine. The secluded area outback is one of the best you can find in the city.I?m looking forward to hiding away here again the next time I want stow away with a bottle of red and ignore real life. If it wasn?t for the delicious food and the amazing job the restaurant workers did, this place would be a one star for me, which... is very disappointing, since my friends and I were very excited to visit.\n\nFrom the moment we walked in it was obvious thatthe staff was not excited to see us. The person working in the wine shop barely acknowledged us, and mumbled under his breath tolet him know if we had questions. We did have questions, but they were all met with a cold and indifferent answers. We all feltvery unwelcome and awkward with the front staff.\n\nRegardless we wrote it off and thought the place is just quirky and maybethe staff is super knowledgeable and doesn?t have time to address the needs of pure mortals but maybe they know theirwine?\n\nUnfortunately even their wine recommendations were terrible?we tried the white flight and had a favorite, but wanted totry something similar. I specifically asked the guy working the wine bar at the time for something similar. First he gave me ared?.when I asked for white. I wrote it off to him not hearing me correctly. Then we had a conversation about how I do not likesweeter whites, he suggested for us to try a Gewürztraminer, which was surprising since those are sometime pretty sweet. Heassured me it was dry.\n\nIt was not?it was exactly what I asked for\nIt not to be?and they charged me a corkage fee ?which isalso odd given the fact that this is a wine shop which offers bottles to be enjoyed in the garden. Needless to say we left verydisappointed and didn?t even ask for a refund on our barely touched bottle since it seemed like too much trouble to confront theunfriendly wine shop staff. Very disappointed, Particularly in the wine staff that served us?\n\nFor anyone looking for a winebar with a knowledgeable and friendly staff please go somewhere else, may I suggest the lovely Ebb and flow across the street. a bit bright, would have preferred a less cafeteria like atmosphere but when the cafeteria like atmosphere is in the midst of... library like shelves of wine, one can\'t really complain. great wines and we met some cool folks as well. Read more

Impressive, expansive collection of wines, French in particular. They even have a selection of French Cabernet Francs that are... not overpriced, which is unusual. Service was pleasant and helpful as well. Read more
