I?ve lived in the neighborhood for 4 years but for some reason never came in here, I?m so upset I didn?t try them sooner!! These... hand pies and empanadas are SO GOOD! The staff was very friendly. You get your money?s worth of filling, and crust is lovely.Holds everything together so you truly can eat with your hands. We got the chicken curry and the chicken and potato ?pot pie?style. Next time, I?m going to buy so many extra and save them so I can reheat for later. I?m writing this review a week latebecause I was craving them, but am sad to see they are closed on Sundays. I'm giving them five stars for the category of pot pies because the one I ordered was really good and they have a lot of... variety... so you can get them for breakfast or lunch or even dessert! Great little cafe! Love the chicken curry empanada! AP's Cafe has a fresh new look and more options than the original savory... pies of Peasant Pies. They still have the breakfast pies and all, but I love the addition of the empandas. They are working onadding more indoor seating, but for a cafe, its perfect. Read more
